Keira

My legs ache as I sprint toward the nurse's office at full speed. I don't even know why I feel so scared. You don't get scared Keira. You don't get scared Keira. You don't get scared Keira....Stop lying Keira. I skid to a halt outside the door to the nurse's office, gasping for air. As I pull myself together I throw the door open, causing the nurse to jump in her chair.

"Are you alright young lady?" She gets up, walking over to me with a worried expression.

"I'm fine, my friend though...something's wrong with him. He came into the clubroom and started screaming, didn't you hear it?" The nurse tilts her head to the side, now looking skeptical. "You didn't?"

"No, I didn't hear anyone scream. Is this some kind of joke? I...what's your name?"

"Keira." I begin to tap my foot nervously.

"Keira..." I feel a chill down my spine. The nurse reaches a hand out toward me and I flinch as she takes my chin and tilts my head upward to face her more directly. I feel my body begin to tremble. This can't be okay! Total invasion of privacy! "I'll come check on your friend, but only because it's my job." She suddenly leans in closer, her face now plastered with a completely blank expression. I can feel her breath on me, cold and harsh. I flinch, closing my eyes, waiting for something, though I'm not sure what.

The cold breath on my face lets up, and I open my eyes again, seeing the nurse standing up straight looking rather confused. She blinks a few times before glancing over at me. I unintentionally shrink backward. What the hell was that!? I feel sick as the nurse steps toward me.

"Keira? Are you alright?"

"Rory...?"

"Right." The nurse rushes out, leaving me alone in the room. I wait a moment, pulling myself back together. Nothing happened, I'm fine. With that, I take off into the hallway.
