The hope that had just filled my heart is stamped out like the dying embers of a campfire. If I can't remember, why would she remember? I shake her hands off, sending her stumbling backward. "Let go!" I scream those words glaring at Hippolyta angrily. She looks hurt, her eyes tearing up a bit.
"What was that for." I spin around to see Autumn standing behind me surrounded in an aura of anger. "Listen, don't do that kind of stuff." I look her into her eyes, seeing Keira and Logan in the corner of my vision, their faces concerned. I can't help but smile.
"You don't scare me." I'm almost surprised with myself as the words come out of my mouth, cold and precise. "Listen, Autumn, I didn't do anything wrong. I was just surprised she grabbed me is all." This isn't me! "You can calm down, ok?" I'm not saying this! As I panic inside my head, I feel my limbs move on their own, propelling me across the room to stand beside Logan and Keira.
Logan looks at me confused and almost scared. I try to call out to him, to tell him I need his help. Logan! Please! Help me! Help-
