It's been a week since that day and I have been ordered to rest for the whole time. Bored from resting in bed, I pleaded with the Doctor Ellyn to set me free, as long as I return to her for regular check-ups. In which she agreed with. She is a doctor who is very cautious and cared deeply for her patients, although she never shows it. In that morning, she's in charge with changing the bandages and preparing the casts for broken bones.
"There you go, all set for today," she says as she finishing wrapping my right hand with a roll of bandage, "Come back again tomorrow morning for your next check-up. And please, be safe,"
"Thank you Doctor. I promise I won't force myself too hard," as she puts a plaster on my once broken nose.
"You will. Now get going, your friend is already waiting outside," she points at the door. She must be referring to Farris.
"Hey there, looks like you managed to get off the bed after all," he greets me, while gently patting my back, "Let's go, you wouldn't want to miss your first class, would you?"
Finally, I managed to left the clinic, and set out again in the school yards. I'm sure everyone will be eyeing on me; A student who has been on bed rest for a week, and now walking around with visible bandage on his arm and plaster on the nose. People might wonder if I was involved in a fighting recently. I try my best to ignore them.
"Just ignore those eyes. Most of them have known about your last duel though," Farris whispers as we walked to the designated class.
"They know?" I'm surprised, but I know I shouldn't be. In the last two battles, everyone has been aware of the power that is marked by blood-red eyes that has been displayed by some students. If any more students managed to display them, it will sure attract the attention.
"But no information are given by the school until know," Farris answers, "They said we should wait for further notice, but I think they are waiting for you to recover, as the others have."
"The others? You mean those who display red-eyes ability, right?" I should have known, but ask around anyway. Farris just nods.

During lunchtime that day, all of the students are informed to gather in the main hall this evening to receive some remarks and announcements from the previous duels. Farris is right, they are waiting for everyone to recover from the duels first, and by everyone, I think it is me to be specific, that they're waiting for.
"Hear that? They must be waiting for you. You should be proud," Farris whispers as he chews his lunch.
"I just hope you are the only one who thinks that.," I reply in a slow voice, but still audible for him. Having feeling of people's glaring at you as you walk through the halls makes you feel all guilty all of sudden, like you have just murdered someone or stolen something precious though you never actually done them.
"Well, you have already drawing anyone's attention towards you. With visible bandage and all that," Farris points out my right arm who is clearly wearing bandage all over it. He got a point after all.
"And he's right," Connor comes to our table, putting his food tray, "What're you doing, pulling stunts like that? You could've just surrendered back then," he speaks in a high tone, almost like shouting.
"You know?" I reply in such a normal tone, which surely irritates and makes him to raises his voice.
"Know? You're not kidding, almost all of them aware of the story of stubborn and nearly killed fighter who refused to give in, and suddenly won the duel, as if nothing ever happened," he exclaims, and all eyes in the cafeteria are on him.
