I replace my glasses with an eye patch that has been kept for a whole time in my pocket. My joints are still stiff, but I decided to brush it off by walking back to ASAC.

"Ready to go?" Richmond invites. Of the three of us, he's the only one who hasn't been physically injured by our last chase. So, he is the one who is physically more fit and the readiest to return home, For the last four days, he has been busy taking care of us, discussing with the mayor, and buying foods and supplies for us.

"I'm ready, I hope. What about Roland's leg?" I almost forgot about his condition. Last time I saw him, his leg is still limping.

"He is fine. The herbs have healed him pretty quickly," he shows me his collection of herbs he gathered, "Don't you know that their herbs are very effective? So I decided to take some of them as a souvenir. People back home might want to check this out."

We leave the room. The sun is getting higher in the sky, signalling that it is almost noon. A gentle breeze passes by, making the atmosphere to be cool although the sun is shining brightly. The town's villagers are less compared with other bigger town, but still it is pretty lively to stay here.

Roland is already waiting outside, carrying the ancient tome that we retrieved from the Order's hideout in Woodshire. Upon closer look under the bright sunlight, that tome is engraved with a big Decagram Seal picture on its cover. That tome mentions an important factor that the only way to restore my sight without losing an eye, is to conquer the seal's mind. Too bad that no other information can be extracted from it, but we ought to bring it back to ASAC as the result of our mission.

We walk to the outside of the town's border. It's kinda sad to leave this peaceful town, even its border is not guarded. Only an old arch along its wooden fences are showing the town's border, but it is still maintained. As we walk by, many of the residents are looking at us. But I think that they're looking at the guy with an eye patch. Seeing it as strange and weird.

We made ourselves along the dirt road, the only visible way to return back to the main roads, where the directions are much clearer there. This dirt road is a long way to go, as Ashbourne is a pretty isolated town, or village to be exact. But the grassy green plains on our sides and with a mountain range in afar are becoming a pleasant view as we walked.

"Glad that we managed to get some information from this tome earlier," Roland speaks as he holds the tome in the air, "We met an excellent decipher in Ashbourne. Perhaps that is why you teleported us there, is it not?"

"Not really... I don't remember anything much, only thinking that we need to go somewhere safe. And there it went," I recall.

"So it can really reads minds after all," Richmond adds.

"Weird, huh? I thought that it isn't going to help us any at all. It's a curse, after all," Roland speak, sounding as carefree as he is.

"You might be closer in fully controlling it, then." Richmond exclaims, "That's a good news for people back home."

"You are from ASAC, right? I say you've acquired a worthy treasure with you," a voice calls in front of us.

They are spec ops from Highmont's Academy of Wizardry, two boys and one girl. We can easily point that out from the distinctive white and lightly gold-trimmed jacket they worn, with the crest of Golden Lion on its left chest, mark of those Highmont's royal nobles. Highmont's Academy of Wizardry is well-known for its reputation of being the only magic school where luxury can be found and enjoyed inside. They only accept the students from wealthy people or people with high social status, which makes them incredibly snob and arrogant toward the others who are not in their academy.
