That night, all the guys hang around downtown together. They walked around downtown for several hours before they went and got something to eat at a small cafe that was somewhat empty.
All the other places they had wanted to go to were crowded, but it was to be expected.
After they ate, they didn't really have any other plans, until Josh suggested that they go to the beach, and of course, the others said yes.
Going to the beach at night was fun, there's more of a thrill to it rather than going during the day. The beach was also a whole lot less crowded if you went at night, everyone was usually at home with their families.
They walk along the beach with their shoes in their hands, Dallon and Brendon were holding hands, while Josh and Tyler were just walking really close to each other.
"So," Brendon says, smirking, "You guys are really bad at hiding things. Are you two together now?"
He swings his and Dallon's hand as he walks, but his main focus is on Tyler and Josh. Dallon only smiles fondly at him.
Tyler goes quiet, and Josh just looks at the sky smiling.
"I mean.." Tyler says, but he trails off towards the end, not really knowing what he should say.
"Mhm, Mhm, exactly what I thought." Brendon quickly pipes in after Tyler trails off, and he was smiling goofily.
Josh rolls his eyes and he quickly steps away from Tyler and to the water. He scoops up a handful of water, before throwing it at Brendon and running ahead.
Brendon's stunned for a second and he pauses, as he quickly lets go of Dallon's hand.
"You bitch! That got in my hair.." he whines softly, before smirking.
He quickly runs after Josh, the bright haired man running faster as he realizes Brendon's chasing him.
Dallon and Tyler just continue walking normally, Dallon rolling his eyes fondly and Tyler playfully scoffing.
"Amateurs.." Tyler mutters, before looking at the water. Dallon laughs softly and shakes his head.
"Josh! Get back here! You can't just mess up my hair and not pay for it!" Brendon yells, as he tries to keep his footing.
Running in sand was rather hard, especially at night.
Josh just turns and sticks out his tongue playfully, "Nope! I'd rather not have salt water in my eyes thank you!"
Brendon quickly runs a little faster as he notices that Josh is starting to lose his fast pace.
Once he gets close enough to Josh, he grabs him by the waist and pulls him down, resulting in them both falling.
Josh squirms around, trying to get out of Brendon's arms but he fails.
Dallon and Tyler eventually catch up, and they just look down at the two, smirking. Tyler crosses his arms while Dallon just looks amused.
"You two dorks alright?" Dallon says, as he finally gets Brendon to let go, and he pulls him up to his chest.
Tyler helps Josh up, and he dusts himself off since it was pretty uncomfortable to have sand all over your arms and legs.
Brendon just goes into Dallon's hold and laughs softly.
"I mean yeah, we're fine. I'm still mad though since somebody got salt water in my hair."
Josh sticks his tongue out again and he shakes his head, "It's what you get."
Dallon brushes the sand off Brendon's lower back and butt, before he just holds Brendon's waist.
