(I'm sorry I haven't updated in forever! But I hope you enjoy <3)

As Brendon read the text he almost felt light headed, the room around him starting to spin and his only focus being on the text.

Why would she want to talk? The only logical thing, and the only thing that Brendon hoped she wanted to talk about, was a divorce. She surely didn't want to see Aspen, did she?

After all she didn't seem like she ever wanted her when they had their fight.

Brendon hadn't even realized his breathing had picked up and his heart was beating rapidly in his chest, but he knew he needed to calm himself down. He didn't want to wake up Aspen or Dallon, but he honestly needed someone to talk to.

He feels Dallon's arms tighten around him and he panics a bit, as his chest seems to be getting tighter and tighter, the feeling of not being able to breathe overwhelming him.

"D-Dallon.." he says breathily, and he grips Dallon's arm a little, desperately trying to wake up his boyfriend.

Dallon still had his face pushed into Brendon's neck, and he only stirs a bit as Brendon grips his arm. Brendon on the other hand shakes him a little, but he still tries not to move too much since Aspen was still right against him.

"Dallon.." Brendon repeats in a bit of a sterner and louder tone as he still shakes him.

Dallon stirs more, and eventually his eyes flutter open, the soft smile that was on his face immediately fading as he sees Brendon's panicked expression.

"Bren, baby? What's wrong?" He asks as he sits up, his arms no longer around Brendon.

"I n-need up.." Brendon says, and he sits up a bit himself, still desperately trying to not wake Aspen up.

Dallon is obviously confused and worried but he slowly gets up from his comfortable position on the bed, his movements slow so he wouldn't make much noise. Brendon is quick to get up, and he doesn't once make eye contact with Dallon, knowing he would break at that point.

Once he successfully gets up he immediately walks out of the room and down the stairs, he didn't exactly want to be alone, no, he really yearned for someone's company, someone's voice.

What he really wanted was Dallon, but he didn't want the older male witnessing him breaking down like this. Dallon also shouldn't have to deal with his problems.

Brendon walks out the back door and he just sits down on the back porch, trying to focus his mind and process what just happened. He doesn't even notice the back door opening again as Dallon steps outside, his foot steps soft.

"Hey.." Dallon says, his voice making the shorter man in front of him jump.

Brendon slowly looks up at Dallon, the small smile on the tallers face relaxing him a tiny bit as he realizes it's just him. Dallon steps forward and he sits down next to him, his arm wrapping around Brendon's shoulder.

Brendon tenses but he slowly relaxes in Dallon's hold, this being exactly what he wanted and needed at the moment.

"So.. what's got you so riled up, baby?"

Brendon sighs and he leans his head on Dallon's shoulder, his breathing still slightly shaky, and his mind not completely clear. He knew talking to Dallon would help though, after all he was his boyfriend.

"S-Sarah texted me," he begins, his breath hitching. "She said she wanted to talk, but I don't know what about,  and I don't even wanna talk to her!"

Dallon's silent for a second as he takes in what Brendon just said. He's a bit confused to say the least, but there's a small feeling of anger that nags at him. He shakes that off though, as he wants to stay calm for Brendon.

"She just texted you out of the blue?" He asks, and he looks at Brendon, the younger only nodding a bit gently. "Maybe she wants to see Aspen? But then again, she really didn't want anything to do with her in the first place.."

Dallon trails off before just going quiet, that small tick of anger still pressing at him. He really does try not to think about it, but the fact that the woman who broke the man he loved, had the audacity to text him all of a sudden just made a feeling bubble up in his chest.

"I don't know really, but I haven't seen her since we broke up and I don't really want her to see Aspen. Is that wrong of me though? Since she is Aspen's mother?" Brendon asks, looking up to Dallon with sad eyes.

Dallon frowns a little, he didn't like seeing Brendon so upset. He wanted to see the man smile, he wanted to see his chocolate colored eyes shining, not looking so hurt and broken.

"If it was me, I wouldn't want her to see my daughter. She treated you both horribly, so she lost her place.. but you're the father, Bren. It's your decision," Dallon replies, and he leans forward and kisses Brendon's forehead, something that makes the younger blush.

"Thank you, Dall.." Brendon says softly, his cheeks now a light rosy color. It suited him though, and in Dallon's eyes it made him look adorable.

"Do I text her back though? Like I said, I don't really want to talk to her.." he continues, giggling a little, Dallon's words obviously having helped him relax.

"I wouldn't.. for the moment at least. If she really had something to say she would text you again," Dallon answers, shrugging gently as he pulls Brendon into his lap.

Brendon sighs softly and nods, Dallon's touch and hold making him relax. He lays his head back against Dallon's shoulder, enjoying the closeness that he had grown used to over the past few weeks.

He lets all of his problems leave his mind for just a bit as he sits with Dallon, the gentle kisses that were now being placed to his neck by said man distracting him.

"I love you.. thank you for helping me," he says softly and he turns to look at Dallon, a soft smile on his face.

Dallon smiles back, and he hums a little as he pulls away from Brendon's neck.

"Of course, darling, and I love you too," Dallon replies, and he pulls Brendon in for a sweet and gentle kiss, something that makes Brendon's heart flutter in his chest.

When they pull away Brendon just smiles, and he lays his head back down on Dallon's shoulder, his eyes closing as he lets out a soft and content sigh.

He feels Dallon trace patterns onto his back, and he feels his hand go through his hair, massaging his head gently.

It's enough to lull Brendon into sleep, and Dallon just smiles as he looks at the adorable man in his arms.

(I'm so so SO sorry it took forever to get this out! I had lost motivation to write for awhile and I'm just getting back into the swing of things. But I hope you enjoyed! Ily all! <3
