(Dallon's finally here haha, enjoy!)
Brendon rushes around grabbing things and throwing them in a small backpack.
There was about 10 minutes until Dallon came over and neither Aspen nor Brendon was ready.
They had planned to go to the zoo and maybe lunch afterwards, then they'd come back to the house and hang out.
"Aspen! Are you ready, honey?" He tossed the backpack onto the couch, before walking back to the hall, catching a glimpse of himself in the mirror.
"Fu-," Aspen came down the stairs all dressed and ready, she gave him a look that said,'you better not'.
"-udge, fudge! I didn't say it!" She gave him a look but giggled nonetheless.
"So you're all ready?" He ran a hand through his hair, messing it up more then it already was. He had gotten up late so he didn't have time to mess with it.
Aspen nodded, padding over to the couch and sitting down on it. "When's dally gonna be here?" She looked at Brendon, a questioning look on her face.
"He'll be here shortly but daddies gotta go take care of this," he motions to himself," if the door bell rings and it's not Dallon, do not answer it, okay?" She nods and turns to the tv.
He quickly races up the stairs, trying not to trip and fall while doing so, and runs into his bedroom. He grabs a black shirt and black skinny jeans, quickly throwing them on and rushing to grab a brush.
He brushes his hair, trying to get it to look perfect, but failing. There's always one strand of hair that flops to his forehead.
"Why can't you just stay with the others?" He mumbles to himself, trying to fix it.
He hears the doorbell ring and he groans, fixing his hair once more before throwing on his shoes and making an attempt to run downstairs.
"Where's your daddy?" He heard Dallon call from the doorway.
He runs down the stairs, skipping a few and almost breaking his ankles, before he comes to a quick halt in front of Dallon and Aspen, out
of breath."I'm-," he takes in a few breaths," m'right here." He cursed himself for not working out more but come on, who likes working out?
Dallon chuckles and smiles at him, Brendon blushes slightly and looks down to Aspen.
"You ready to go, A?" Dallon gets down on one knee, becoming level with Aspen.
"Yes! M'ready Dally! Let's go! Let's go!" She grabs his hand quickly, rushing to the door.
Brendon laughs and grabs his keys and the backpack from the couch, before following Aspen and Dallon out the door.
"Let's take my car, Aspen's car seat is already in it so we won't have to mess with it." Brendon turns to Dallon, who nods.
"Sure, but I'll drive."
Brendon looks at him again," You're positive? I can drive if you'd like me to."
Dallon nods," I'll drive it's fine. C'mon Aspen, I'll get ya buckled in."
He opens the door for Brendon, who looks at him, shocked, before he suddenly snaps out of it and sits down in the car. Dallon closes the door and picks up Aspen, putting her down in her car seat before buckling it.
He comes around to the front and sits in the passengers seat.
Brendon looks down at his lap until he hears the door close, he looks up and sees Dallon smiling at him.
