The next couple of weeks had gone by normally, with only a few little flaws here and there.
Brendon hadn't talked to his mother after the whole event, he didn't want to have to go through that again. He loves Dallon, his mother had no right to judge.
Dallon and Brendon were now currently laying in bed together, Dallon spooning Brendon while tracing gentle circles into the younger's hip with his thumb. Brendon was leaning back into him, being completely content with being in Dallon's arms.
Dallon was almost asleep, and Brendon smiles at that. He had his face buried in the back of the Brendon's neck, his act of rubbing circles into the boys hip almost coming to a stop. Brendon could feel his gentle breathing against the back of his neck, and he sighs softly in content.
He loved just sitting with Dallon, he felt like he didn't have to worry about anything in life, he didn't have to worry about problems with his mother, he didn't have to worry about problems with Sarah, or anything. He could just sit there in his boyfriend's arms and not worry about his troublesome life.
Brendon knew Dallon felt the same way, he always seemed so content just having Brendon in his arms, or even just close to him.
Dallon by now has fallen asleep, and Brendon can still feel his breath on his neck. Dallon's arms stayed around him even in his sleep. Brendon closes his eyes for a few seconds, just taking in the moment.
He's almost asleep himself, but he hears the door crack open, and he looks up a little.
Aspen was stood there with her bear in her arms, her small arms wrapped tightly around it. Her hair was a mess, and she had a tired look in her eyes.
Brendon smiles and he sits up a little to look up at her, but he doesn't move out of Dallon's arms. "Hey baby," he softly says.
"Hi Dada, I couldn't sleep.." her voice is soft, tiredness laced in her slurred words.
"Well that's a problem, now isn't it hun? C'mere, sweetheart," he pats the little space beside him on the bed, gesturing her over. Aspen slowly pads over, her bear still in her hold.
"Is daddy asleep?" She questions as she reaches the side of the bed, and she puts her arms up so that Brendon will pick her up.
Brendon reaches over, and he pulls her up. His movements cause Dallon to stir a bit.
Once he gets Aspen situated, he moves a little so that Dallon's chin is on his shoulder, and he reaches back to run his hand through Dallon's hair, easing the man back into sleep.
Aspen cuddles up to him, and she plays with the bear in her arms.
"Dada? Wheneva Daddy gets up, and we're all up.. can we go and.. get ice cweam?"
Brendon laughs breathily, and he continues playing with Dallon's hair. He looks down at Aspen smiling, and amused look on his face.
"Baby, me and your Daddy took you out for ice cream yesterday, you don't need it again sweetheart."
Aspen pouts, and she taps Brendon's chest with the bears paws.
"But Dada.. I wan it again." She whines out.
Brendon laughs, "I'm sure you do baby. Look, if you're good, we may go get ice cream okay? Or we may just go out, how does that sound?"
