"Okay seriously, you are starting to freak me out. How the hell did you get here?" - tanong ko kay Sean

Andito kami ngayon sa pool area nila Kristin at Sean at binababad lang ang mga paa namin sa pool at nagpapanggap na may footspa session kami. Dito lang kasi tahimik at walang dumadaang tao. Nasa gitna ako nilang dalawa; si Kristin na walang ginawa kundi ang humagalhak dahil sa trending ngayong video sa internet. Ano pa ba? Edi yung kanina! Ulit ulitin ba namang i-play?🙄 Si Sean naman ay tahimik lang na nakatingin sa kabilang parte ng pool. Malalim nanaman ang iniisip kaya binulabog ko.

"Remember the text earlier? When I asked you about Barbara Demetria? My parents got an invitation for the party and so here I am."

"Ah, I see. Isa rin pala sila sa pinaplastik ni Barbara." - sagot ko at natawa na lang ng mapakla.

"You meant to say your mother.."

"Nope. I meant to say Barbara. I realized she never was a mother to me so it's pointless if I still call her by the name she already abandoned years ago."

"That's cool. Maybe I should call my mother by her first name when we fight. It'll make her pissed off even more." - sabat naman ni Kristin

Sean and I just shook our heads sa sinabi ni Kristin. Ay nga pala, hindi pa sila magkakilala ng personal.

"By the way, Kristin this is Sean. He's my subject partner and we are currently working on a project. And Sean meet Kristin, my frenemy."

They both smiled politely and shook hands.

"I see you are the foreigner guy Lana's been raving about for the past days.. Well it's nice to finally meet you. And thank you for helping me get her out of the fight kanina. You can speak tagalog, right?"

"I can. Although someone said that my tagalog accent sucks and that I don't know the correct Filipino grammar." - he replied, smirking

"Well I'm sure kung sino man ang nagsabi niyan, she's right." - sabat ko at ginantihan rin siya ng nakakalokong ngiti.

"Oh well, I better get back to my parents. Baka hinahanap na nila ako eh. Ciao!" - sabi ni Kristin at tumayo na at naglakad pabalik ng party.

Anyway, naiwan kaming dalawa dito ni Sean na nakatingin sa papalayong anino ni Kristin. Minsan hindi ko rin maiwasang mainggit sa kanya. She's a bitch yes, pero tanggap siya ng pamilya niya kahit sino pa siya. Not that im saying na tino-tolerate siya ng parents niya. I mean, she gets reprimanded for her actions but after that they still love and accept her. Not even a million mistakes could make them not love Kristin, which makes that bitch very lucky to have such family. Im just too unlucky to have the same fate as hers. Well, what's done is done. Suck it up and move on, ika nga nila. Besides, jealousy gets you to nowhere.

"You know what I said about someone I know who's like the evil queen?" - tanong ni Sean habang nabalik ang tingin sa kabilang dulo ng pool.

"What?"

"She's you."

"Ako? Seryoso ka? Mukha ba akong mamamatay tao sayo?" - I replied, chuckling.

He sighed for a bit before speaking again.

"She's more than just an antagonist, Lana. She reminds me of you because beneath all that 'i hate people' persona you're sporting, I know deep inside you just wanted to be heard. Like I said, you're misunderstood just like the queen is."

"What makes you think you know me so well?"

"Because I see you, Lana Demetria. I see you beneath that mask you keep on wearing to hide what you really feel. Okay lang naman maging malungkot minsan. Okay lang magalit. And it is definitely okay to express what you really feel to others."
