Dear Mom and Dad,
How have you two been? I know it's only been a few days since I last wrote to you, but I have so much to share!
A couple days ago, I bumped into Higashikata Josuke, a boy I've known since kindergarten. I'm not sure if you guys remember him, but we used to have play dates.
Tomoyo decided to try out at the school's drama club. She said that the audition was a piece of cake, and she got in! I think she's adjusting fine, and I'm really happy for her.
Grandma's been doing well too. She makes us help out with her garden ever since we returned. It's tiring, but it's also really fun! I hope when you two visit we can tend to her veggies again like the old days.
Unfortunately, I got into a bit of trouble on the first day. I encountered a mysterious creature with snowy white fur. It was a bit of a struggle to smuggle it home, especially when Grandma spotted Josuke's jacket in my hands (which I hid it in).
I cleaned it up and fed it some of Grandma's fried shrimp. It seems to really like it. I'm not sure if it can understand me, but I feel that there's something special about it.
It's been a few days since Josuke and I rescued it, but it still hasn't made a single sound. I wonder if it can even talk. Does that make sense?
Anyway, I'll update you two on the creature sometime. But here's a doodle of it in the corner! Please write back to me when you can.
xoxo, 四宮 (y/n)

Shuffling of slippers could be heard before your door creaked open. You turned, albeit snail paced, at your sister who stood in the doorway.
"Morning, big sis." She started, still in her baby blue pajamas. Noticeable strands of her dark hair stood in attention, sticking in odd angles as she murmured. "Granny said she wants you to help in her garden."
"Okaaaay," You dragged your response, setting down your pencil on your desk. Tomoyo closed the door quietly when soft rustling came from the furniture across the room.
Inside the (colour) closet, the sounds grew louder, prompting you to check it out. Sliding the door open, you peeked into the shadows. The silhouette of the fluffy creature could be seen even under the pile of clothes. You reached out to lift a jacket, only for it to poke its fluffy head out, snowy white ears twitching as it watched you cautiously. Withdrawing, your lips twitched into an awkward smile.
