" Baby? "

"It's terrible right?..of course it is" He sighed , studying me as I tried to smile , glancing at the eggs on the plate , extremely oily and over fried .
"No no , honey , it's fine..erhh.. totally saltless but fine.."I grinned.
"Wait what ? ,(He tasted the eggs he just fried) , yuck!.."His face twitched.
I cackled even more.
Damn...it tastes like saltless margarine.
Hey , cut it out.

"I'm ordering"He said , settling in the dining chair next to me.
"Aww honey , come here"I wrapped my arms around him.
" If it makes you feel any better you look hot with an apron on."I winked , he chuckled boyishly.
"I suck at this now , but I really need to at least cook breakfast..how am I possibly gonna give you breakfast in bed if I can not? "He said after calling one of his guards to order breakfast.
I stared at him , intrigued.

"Hey , you're the kind of breakfast any woman would wanna have in the morning.."I teased , receiving a scowl from Caesar.
" I'm trying to concentrate on food Kayla"
"My bad.."I giggled.

We settled in the theater room after breakfast , now munching on chocolate chip cookies Caesar bought me last night.

"Thanks Leo"I muttered.
"For what? ,serving you the worst fried eggs?"He looked down at me as I laid on his lap.
"No silly , for the drawing gadgets and study books , it was a thoughtful gesture'I smiled.
He leans in and kisses me.
"Did you draw anything?"
"Yeah , you.."I smiled smugly , he smirked.
"Me? , Let me see it"
"No not yet.."I shook my head.
"Hey what? ,why not?"He frowned , I laughed softly.
"Well well well , if it ain't the newly engaged couple"Caroline walked into the room , a green shopping bag in hand. I rose up to hug her. She smiled brightly at me and handed me the bag.
"This is for you Kayla"
"Really?! , Thank you Caroline"I chuckled , itching to open the gift .
"Well go on , open it"She said excitedly , sitting next to her brother.
I unwrapped the gift box and let out a fancy lingerie , lacy , red and just my size. My eyes popped out in shock as I sneaked it back into its box.
"Caroline!"I screamed , Caesar shot me a mischievous smirk before excusing himself to pick up a business call.
"What? , you're gonna need it "She winked.
"How did you even get my size?"
"I guessed..I'm glad I was right , anyways guess what?"
"You're getting married too?"
"Oh no , that will to have to wait.."She laughed.
"Mom and dad are dying to meet you ,who would have thought Caesar , the workaholic that he is , would have time off his busy schedule for any girl and even fall for her enough to want to get married?'She smiled , her one hand on mine.
"You've made him feel whole, I'm so grateful for you "
"Oh come on , she'll start sobbing "Caesar came back in.
I stood there like a child , totally flustered.
"When am I going to meet them then?"I asked
"Oh well , I thought you'd never ask , they're on the 3rd floor"She smiled brightly.
"What?!"Caesar and I screamed.
"Erh..I should have informed you right?.."
" you think?"Caesar shot her a glare.
"I'm wearing a tank top and shorts Caroline...I can't meet my future in laws in this"I pointed to my clothes.
"I don't know about that but you look beautiful anyways ."Caesar smirked. I scowled at him.
"Hey hey , fine . Go get dressed then.."He laughed.
"Don't worry , follow me honey , I've got that covered." Caroline pulled me along after Caesar gave me a quick kiss and headed to his room.
"How? , I didn't bring a dress"I whined seemingly panicking.
She just winked at me and opened a door, I entered after her.
"Welcome to my emergency room"She giggled , I stood in awe ,the entire room was more like a closet , dresses , jewelry , suits , skirts and heels filled the room.
"Emergency?"I turned to her as she searched through the variety for the right fit .
"Yeah , well when I probably stain my dress or end up having nothing I like in my closet , I sneak up here for a change of outfit , these are all new clothes I ordered. Caesar will definitely kill me if he finds out .."She grinned , finally showing me a black fitting  dress.
"It's gorgeous!"I grabbed the dress and strided to the changing room.
"That fits perfectly"She nodded when I came out of the changing room , handing me a diamond necklace with matching earrings.
"Oh no ..this is too much "I disapproved. I certainly couldn't afford this and the last thing I wanted was for Caesar's parents to think I was in for the money.
"Kayla , trust me , you gotta put this on , my mom loves diamond.. it'll be a plus "She insisted , handing it back to me with nude heels.
I put them on and sat in front of the dressing mirror as Caroline applied make up on me. We were done within 10minutes and strided to the elevator .

"You picked an amazing choice son , stunning and smart"Mr James Banks shook my hand , followed by Mrs Susan Banks who hugged me instead.
"She's stunning indeed , makes me imagine the grandkids I'll get..ooooh , so exciting"She slightly squeaked , earning a burst of laughter from all of us.
Caesar smiled at me , mischief in his eyes , I shot him a scowl before following his parents to the swimming pool area.
"Everything is going well so far huh?"Caesar says to me as Caroline chit chats with their parents after I spent a great deal of time telling them about myself , they obviously cared less about my background and paid more attention to my desires and vision were most questions were asked , it was such a relief for me.

"Fortunately , I was hoping we wouldn't have two sides to convince"I sounded relieved . He chuckled , his hands resting on my shoulders.
"The course of true love never did run smooth.."His eyes were intense , a dimpled smile on his perfect face .
"William Shakespeare should sue you"My hand lay on his.
" Wherever he is , I'm certain he won't mind me borrowing his quotes to make a point , honey"He slowly kissed my cheek when his eyes lingered on my lip.
"Come to think of it , We haven't kissed today "He said with a serious face that you'd think we were talking about crucial issues.
I joined him.
"That's positive Mr Banks , and you won't get any if you don't quit being cheesy and help me impress your parents Einstein!"
He threw back his head in laughter , drawing the attention of our audience.

Leave it to Prince Charming to place you in the center of attention..

"What's funny son? , care to involve us" Mrs Susie flashed us a smile. My head snapped to Caesar's direction.
He shot me a mischievous smirk before clearing his throat.

Oh boy oh boy...

"Kayla never ceases to amaze me , she knows a great deal of Shakespeare's quotes , it's just ...(he grinned)...'cheesy' "

"How delightful ! , I adore his quotes "Caroline and Mrs Susie chirped in.

Such a sly creature , he's going to pay for that..argh

"What's your favorite dear?"Mr James patted my shoulder before sipping a glass of wine Caesar poured him.

"Erhh..."

You better form something if you don't remember nothing ,don't just stand there..steal a quote from the twilight movie or something...
Gees , subconscious mind.. really?

"Go on , don't be shy love"Caesar chuckled , sipping his wine.

"Who could refrain that had a heart to love , and in that heart a courage to make love known"I quoted , suddenly remembering the notes I used to write in my journal back in senior high.

"How lovely "James commented , giving Susie a kiss on the cheek , she smiled in surprise.
"Aww..well I remember one of his quotes too ,...ermm..'Love's reason..erm"
"...is without reason ' "I completed for her.
"Exactly , Kayla , that one"she giggled , earning a laugh from Mr and Mrs Banks.
Caesar glanced at me , clearly startled , I smirked.
