I bet you know the feeling of purchasing something online and eagerly waiting for it to arrive , the exciting feeling of finally looking at it with your own eyes ,after just staring at it on a screen . Man! , I'm certainly feeling that type of way right now. A month passed quite slowly , lectures was productive , socialisation was at it's normal rate (you know right), Sandra and Elaina were up to no good as always , my mom had called once to ask me how I was and ended the call immediately I muttered "totally fine"... surprisingly that wasn't the cause of my sour mood , of course , Caesar had travelled before but after sharing a bit more memories with him , it seemed as if he had grown on me.

It seemed huh?...

He had definitely grown on me , nothing else could explain why I was on my way to his private airport when 2hours still remained before he landed .
Here I was , sitting in my car outside the airport since I had no pass or card to get in.

"It's freezing outside Miss Wills , I should have probably drove to the penthouse ."Max said after a long while of waiting.
He was right , it was raining outside , I puffed.
"I'm so sorry for wasting your time Max , it's quite  obvious how eager I am to see him"
"I understand Miss Wills"He flashed me a polite smile and switched his gaze back to the steering wheel.

I told you this was one of those not so brilliant ideas Kay..

I tried calling Caesar again , it went straight to voicemail. I dialled Sandra's number.
"Hey Aniya! , where are you girl? It's Friday night you know , I thought you ended class 4hours ago"
"I did , I'm ..."
"Let me guess , Caesar's flight already landed  and you're heading home with him?"
"...Erh ,That's  supposed to be the plan"I muttered , glancing at Max.
"Enlighten me Mahatma"She snorted.
"I'm waiting at the airport"
" Well well well, Someone's a little impatient"Sandra laughed.
"  The downpour  just cancelled my plans "She added in a sad tone.
" I'm glad it did , it's too early to be on dates Sandy"I rolled my eyes.
"No it's not!"She retorted.
"It is and you kno..."
"Miss Wills , Sir Caesar's in"Max announced , I rolled down the window glass , spotting Caesar and six other men standing right at the entrance. The men listened as Caesar spoke , the youngest of them placing an umbrella over his head when he stepped out into the open , a red SUV pulled over ,a chauffeur hastily rushed out to open a door for Caesar.
No no no , heck! , I've been waiting here for ages .

Two hours...
"Delilah! , I'll call you back ,bye"I ended the call with Sandra.
"Leo! "I shouted , bulging out of the car.
"Miss Wills , the rain!.."I heard Max shout but I was already striding to were the  SUV was parked ,Caesar halfway in.
"LEO!"
Caesar's head popped back up swiftly , his eyes searching , I giddily waved my hands at him.
"Kay? " He walked towards me , the young man still following him with the umbrella.
"Babe !"I hugged him when he got close.
"Oh goodness , you're wet sweetie ,what are you doing here?"He laughed as I tightened our hug.
"Ben , let the chauffeur drive you all home . I'll head home in my  fianceé's ride"Caesar took the umbrella and held it over my head.
"Thank you boss , see you on Monday "He had the silliest smile on his face as he settled in the flashy SUV.
Caesar chuckled at me , a hidden message in his eyes.
"Why are you staring at me like that?"I shivered , my clothes totally soaked .
"How long have you been out here?"He asked instead .
"30minutes.."I lied
"You're lying"He smirked.
"Quit staring Leo! , I've been here for 2 hours okay? ,There , I said it."I glared at him , hitting his chest when he laughed once more.

The richness of his voice...oh my.. he's back.

His fingers traced the rain droplets on my face , his brown eyes soaking me in .
"I missed you Miss K "that's when he savoured my lips.

"How was everything when I was away"He asked when we settled in the living hall , two empty bowls of leftover Chinese food on a glass tray.
"Productive"I stared right at the tv screen.

You and I know it wasn't a 100% productive..

"Ah I see , well , I had a bit of a hard time focusing in most of my meetings because of you"He glanced at me before changing the channel.
"Leo! ,I was watching that"I leaned in , trying to take the remote. He leaned back too , causing me to fall face flat on him ,he simply grimaced.
"I've been away for a month and you prefer to watch a telenovela than look at me"
I hid a smile , struggling to get up as he held onto my arms.
"Let me go Caesar! "I hit his chest , instantly feeling it's broadness. I involuntarily laid my head down on it , my arms wrapping around his waist. I felt him  shake beneath me as he laughed.
"Your actions say the opposite Kay"
"I lied , I wasn't that productive. Memories of us together engulfed me"I muttered , drinking him in. His arms flew to my back to secure me on him , as if sending a message that he felt the same way I did.
"Did they call?"His voice was low and I knew he was referring to my parents.
"Mom did , it was a 1 minute conversation" I laughed humorlessly.
"Don't worry Kay , everything's going to be settled soon , your dad will walk you down the aisle ,...and your mom , well , she'll make use of tissues ..."
I giggled , looking up at him.
"You think so?"I asked after a moment.
"I know so "His fingers run through my curls ,a new hairdo I fixed last week,
an appreciative look on his face.
"Is it just me or you indeed look more breathtakingly gorgeous than you did a month ago"He grins.
"It's definitely just you"I reply , my focus still on the telenovela.
"You never go with saying thank you when you get a compliment do you?"He looks back at the tv screen after switching to the sports channel.
"Nah-uh"I grab the remote , he cocks up an eyebrow.
"Excuse me? , I sat here for hours whilst you watched a telenovela , totally ignoring me"
"I didn't TOTALLY ignore you"I scowl, glancing at my watch ,it was 11pm already.
" Kayla , let me watch the old match "He lifts me up and places me at the far end of the leather couch.

Oh .. that's how it's going to be huh

I stare at him for a while , he acts oblivious about me being around and I definitely know he's paying me back.
"It was only 3hours babe"I pout.
"Only huh.."His eyes glued to the TV screen.
"Look at me already!"I crawl on the couch to his side , blocking his view.
"Kay.."He warns.
"I missed you"
"It didn't seem that way 3hours ago"He gives me a straight face.
"I'm sorry , I'll take you out for dinner tomorrow night ,what do you say?"I wink at him.
"Is this your way of soothening me?"A hint of amusement in his eyes.
"Is it working?"I wink again.
"No"
"No?"
"No"
"Hey , I'm not gonna beg you again"I frown.
"You think acting tough is gonna work?"He chuckles.
" Uh-uh? , Fine I give up , go ahead and ignore me (I rise to my feet , heading to the master bedroom)  since tomorrow's your birthday , it's gonna be epic when I decide to play this gam..."I grimace when he finally looks at me.
"How did you know my birth date?"He casually stands up , switching off the TV when he checks the time too.
"It's on the internet babe, they have lots of info. about you , your business and family"I answer.
"O..I see"He simply mutters , before getting up and walking past me to the bedroom.

Isn't that a big deal Leo! ,Man! , You're on Google.

"Did I say something wrong?"I follow him.
"No honey , you didn't , I just don't see anything special about it , that's all"He drinks a glass of water.
"Why?"I scoff
"It's nothing , really ,I barely get the time to even celebrate ."
"Well we're going out for dinner tomorrow night"I insist.
He smiles , shaking his head.
"Can I say no?"
"No"I giggle when he manages to pull me onto the large bed.
"Fine , anything you want."
