"You're engaged!?"Jerry gawked at the diamond ring Caesar gave to me this morning.
Sandra and Elaina screamed hysterically .
"Yeah " I moved to the duffel bag for groceries I purchased before Caesar dropped me off on campus.
"Tell me everything Aniya ! ,Ohh finally , Elaina what did I tell you!!"Sandra gave Elaina and I a bear hug.
"Whoaaaa , you're letting her go through with this?"Jerry glared at them.
"Why not?"Sandra shot him back a glare.
"Oh , nothing much , just the obvious fact that it's been just 4 months !, Kayla you can't be serious , we're talking about Caesar Banks here , he's probably trying to use you and dump yo.."
"You really got guts Jerry , you know I love and care for him besides I'm not stupid enough to not see when a guy's simply playing with me and has no love ,I won't make that mistake twice"I growled. I could tell he was hurt by my comment.
"I thought you'd be happy for me Jerry , he's everything I wanted"I gasped.
"Oh right , he's rich and charming ,yeah I got that ,He's a freaking billionaire KayB , he could have anyone he wants , don't you worry that he might just be in for the sex?..."
"That's it boy , it's obvious you have no idea what love is , they haven't even had sex yet"Elaina sternly said.
"Wait ... really?"Jerry questioningly glanced my way , I looked elsewhere.
"I think you should leave , the last thing I want is for you talking her out of this and making her miserable with you once more.. geez Aniya ,the best friend you have"Sandra came in.
"Nothing comes easy , you have to take risks , and I'm willing to take one with Leo , If it turns out badly... at least I'll have memories of the best days of my life so far .So please , leave me alone and have fun with Bernice"I glared at him.

"Leave.."I glanced at the door.
He nodded briefly and moved towards the door.
"I will always be here for you , friends or not"He leaned in and said to me before slamming the door on his way out.
"Arghh , can you believe that guy?!"Elaina laid on my bed.
"Hey hey , why are you crying?"Sandra moved to hug me .
"He minimally freaked me out"I confessed.
"Then I guess I ought to smack you back to your senses"She said.
A soft laugh escapes my lips.
"Caesar is a good man , just right for a girl like your kind , beautiful , kind-hearted and well , a little psychotic."Elaina patted my shoulders .I chuckled.
"Now let's focus on how to inform THE parents"Sandra chirps in and I groan.
"Arhhhhhh...not that"
"There's a fat chance that they'll kill me after I inform them about my 4months relationship with a business tycoon ,..care to guess what'll happen when I add up the info of us getting married soon?"
"...well you'll be dead by then so why worry?"Sandra chuckled as I groaned even more.
"They'll probably agree..."Elaina said hopefully.
"No..I know them , girls "I sat on my bed .
"What are we gonna do? ,if it's meant to be ,it will be,even if you break up or cancel the wedding now.. sooner or later something is bound to happen"Elaina winked at me.
"Uh-uh.."I glanced at my phone when it buzzed.
