I turned my head and gazed through the window , like I saw a rainbow.
"Kayla ,I meant what I said."He parked the car at the side of the road , shifting in his seat so as to look at me properly ,I didn't know I could get more uneasy.
"Listen , I'm not one of those cheap girls you can buy with luxury Caesar"I gave him a dead pan look ,hoping he wasn't one of those players .
A smile crept on his face ,and I stared back at him..did this man hear me?
"Caesar ,did you hear what.."
"Let's get out of the car, Kayla"He swiftly got out of the car after unbuckling his seat belt. I sat , confused.
"Wait ,Why?"I stammered as he opened my door and ushered me out , placing his hand on my lower back ,I slightly jumped.
He's just being a gentleman you fool , get a hold of yourself.
"Are you okay ?"He stared down at me before I lost his touch.I nodded , inwardly sad.
Thumbs up for ruining the moment Kayla.
"Hey "He held my left cheek.
"I'm not going to hurt you"He promised ,he opened the car door again and took out his Adidas cap.
"Here , it's apparently sunny "He cupped my braids at one side and fixed the cap tenderly on my head .
"Thanks "I mumbled , loving the attention.
"Are you hungry?"He asks ,his gaze fixed on me.
I had already had lunch with Sandra .
"I had lunch Caesar,how about we sit in the car and I ask you a few questions"I had been dying to question him. He furrowed his alluring eyebrows.
"Let's drink something cold while you are at it"He said , pointing at the smoothies shop nearby. I had never been there even though it was just outside campus.
"Ooo , guess you have everything planned out."I smirked at him , earning an amused stare.
"Come on"He ushers me towards the shop , we get in and choose a table.
"Hello , what can I get you two"a waitress comes along as we settle in our seats. She winks at Caesar.
"My husband and I will have two banana smoothies , could you hurry up , we have kids to pick up from school "I find myself fabricating.
Husband? ,Ha .Ha. Ha
"Right away Mrs"She strides away obviously embarrassed .I felt Caesar's gaze on me.
"Don't say nothing "I warned him playfully and he just chuckled.
"Now I'm not sure I like possessive Kayla"He teased.
I rolled my eyes as a different waitress brought two glasses of banana smoothies to our table.
"Thank you so much"I smiled at her before she walked away. I took a long sip and tried to list my questions.
"Go on .."He urged me on , with a weird smile.
.heyyyyy I'm the one asking the questions ,I'm supposed to smile like that.
"Are you married?"I was determined to know my stand with him today.
"What? , Kayla(I hummed in response ) , no ,no ring"He gestured his ring finger.
"You are sure about that right? , maybe you're divorced or something.."I trailed off.
"That should be a different question"He didn't flinch , always watching me..arghh.
"Well ..."This was harder that I thought.
He took a sip of his smoothies and slightly licked his upper lip .Damn ,Kayla....damn
" Can I ask you a question?"He moved his right hand across the table and laid his fingers on mine. I giggled when he winked at me .
"I'm not married nor divorced ,just saying.."I cut him off the moment he tried to speak,
we ended up laughing. I heard my phone ring and I looked down to search my bag.
"Are you in a relationship?"I heard him say.
Really Caesar Banks? ... now what was I searching my bag for?
I stopped moving my hand and stared straight into his eyes.
"Are you?" I threw back.
"Kayla.."He playfully growled at me.
It wouldn't hurt to play a little.
"Well ,it's complicated Caesar "I put on a serious face.
He studies me for what feels like eternity and moved so close to me ,I shut my eyes.
"Well , that's too bad , You're mine now "I felt his breath on me as he muttered those words.

Act normal... I'm warning you Kayla..
"Caesar..."my voice hitched as the scent of his cologne hit me.
"I know ,it sounds crazy ,but the minute I looked up and saw you that day, I had never been so sure "He maintained his posture and I kept my eyes shut.
Speak you fool.
"Th....the smoothies are getting less cold.."I mumbled ,my eyes opening as I took a very very long sip.
He laughed, "What?"
Oh for heaven's sake Kayla ,I tell you to do one simple thing.
"Can we get back in the car?"I mumbled again , already up on my feet , heading to the exit.
"Wait , Kayla ..."I moved out , not hearing his last words and went to stand by the Range Rover. He came out , throwing me a questioning look before unlocking the car door ,I hastily sat in and waited for him to get in ,he strides to his side of the car and hopped in.
He rapidly turned to me ," I'm sorry Kayla, I didn't mean to..." that's when I kissed him.
I felt him freeze at the spot before he kissed me back ,his hands moving to my side, I knew I had waited for him all my life and here he was ,I couldn't say it but I wanted to show him ,I slowly savoured his mouth , remembering all the overly romantic movies I'd watched. I bit his bottom lip and heard him groan in pleasure. His lips were incredibly soft ,who would have known my first passionate kiss would be this awesome.
I parted our lips and kissed the bridge of his nose ,his eyes still shut.
I moved back to my seat, biting my lip as I fixed back the cap that had fallen in my lap and looked at the window , waiting for him to say something , anything.
"....."Silence.
Caesar Banks you better say something or I'll..

I heard him laugh ," I hope you don't blame it on my cologne Miss K"
I sharply turned my head to face him.
"I blame it on the smoothies"I stare right at him , holding back a giggle.
" And that bite , whoa Kayla"He chuckled with mischief ,his index finger touching his bottom lip ,I shyly looked away .
"Drive the car Caesar.."I growled.
