Abel:

My boys helped me get rid of the body and all the evidence. We left her sink in a lake and burned our clothes full of blood. We weren’t worried we would get caught, these whores never have someone to be by their side, they are away from home and friends, only looking for a way to live.

I had left Valerie back to home with my bodyguard, there was no way I was leaving her get back home alone, at least not for a few days. She was still shocked when we left her.

Living with her these days got me thinking a lot. I could see her pain and regret and how hurt she was. I felt remorse for all the things I’ve done. I couldn’t keep my promise for her when I should have. I betrayed her when she just wanted to be loved.

I should have not been such a dick to her. She was screaming for help but I wasn’t listening cause I just wanted to delete my feelings for her. I couldn’t feel worse for all of this.

It was now one week later since the incident. Ι came back to my apartment with food for Valerie from my evening strolling. I found her alone, watching TV.

A: “Have you eaten? I brought you pizza.”

She stood up and looked at me with the sad look she has been having these past days.

V: “Can you tell Peter to take me outside today? I need fresh air, I’ll eat later.”

A: “Sure.” I smiled and texted Peter. “He’ll be here in a few.”

She stood in front of the mirror and fixed her hair. I was only letting her due to the fact that Peter would be with her. That would also give me some time to spend with myself and get high.

Peter came after a few minutes. Valerie took her red bag and left the room with a sigh. I was really sad for her. I just wanted the best for her.

I smoked my blunt and poured some vodka. I finally got to relax after a lot of days of a busy life. I did my coke and continued smoking. I could feel my head getting calmer and calmer and my thoughts clearing. I was high as fuck.

I found myself thinking about Valerie again. I was so stupid for denying my feelings. I could have given this a shot but I messed up. I couldn’t hold myself for her on Thursdays, I was ignoring her when she needed me the most. She had always been there for me and I was staying away from her and her love. And the result? She killed a girl.

I was crying while drinking my Vodka. I came to the realization that my feelings for her were still there, they were never gone. I could just say that I love her and be together. I would make her the happiest person in the world. It was that easy but the fact that I was leaving in a few weeks and knowing this won’t last, I didn’t want to say anything.

I smoked my joint. All I could think about is how much I loved Val, my beautiful, little Val. I wish she could see that and do something herself. I woke up from my thoughts by her knocking on the door. Damn, time passes by fast when high.

I opened the door for her with a smile and she made her way in. She looked more relaxed and positive. I wanted her to forget what had happened and move on.

A: “Did you have fun?”

V: “Yes, Peter got me ice cream.” I could finally see a smile on her face as she sat down to eat her pizza from earlier.

A: “I’m happy for you.” I sat next to her to keep her company.
