I woke up the next day beside pony in the same way we were laying last night. I gently got out the bed not to wake him and made my way too the bathroom. I went in there and did my business and washed my hands and then jumped into the shower. I washed my hair with my strawberry cream shampoo and conditioner. I then washed my body with my strawberry shower gel. I got out and wrapped my black towel around me and made sure it was steady then walked out to my room to get dressed. Ponyboy was still asleep so I walked over to him and put a pillow over his face. He shot awake. "Hey what was that for?" "Keep your eyes close I'm getting dressed." "Could have just said that" I laughed. I put on my underwear and my bra then went to my closet to find my jeans. I picked out a pair of light blue destress jeans with a Black tanktop then with a red flannel. I went over the pony and pulled the pillow off his face and smiled at him. He laughed and picked me up and ran out the room with me. I pushed me on the couch and tickled me till I couldn't breath. Johnny then walked in and just smiled at me. I knew that smile. He then ran to me and pony and helped pony tickle me. Dallas walked him and picked me up. "Y'all 2 leave my babygirl alone." I laughed and climbed on his back. He sat down and I was stuck behind him. I laughed and tried to push him off.
"Have y'all seen Ashlynn around she disappeared?" Dal joked.  "I'm right here goofy." I laughed. Then Darry and Soda came down stairs. I stopped laughing. I jumped up from behind Dal and sat on his lap and snuggled up against him. I was still scared that they were going to send me away.
"Hey Ash can I talk to you?" Darry asked. I looked at pony to see if it was a good idea. He just nodded his head and I got up. I walked up the stairs to my room. Darry and Soda came in behind me. They closed the door and sat in front of me.
"Sweetie can you tell us whats wrong. I'm sorry what you heard. We didn't mean it. We're not going to send you to a girls home. We love you and I'm not going to have anything happen to you." Darry said. Soda just smiled at me and tried to hug me. I let him and smiled back.
"Okay. I'll tell y'all just don't get mad and don't blow up. I have been depressed lately because I feel like y'all don't want me. I understand y'all love me but it doesn't feel like it all the time. And then what happen with Chandler and all I didn't know how to cope with it so I cut my self. Pony stoped me and helped me. He flushed all my blades that he could find. I been getting better with that but. I still can't help but feel like I'm a burden. I try and fake it but it doesn't always work. I'm sorry I didn't tell you Darry but I was afried that you and Soda wouldn't want me anymore." I said full out crying. Soda was too.
"Baby can you show me were you hurt your self?" Soda asked me softly. I humb in response and pulled up my sleeve. I started to cry harder when Soda saw it. Darry started to cry then hugged me. He kissed my scars and so did soda and just hugged me.
"I'm so sorry honey. We should have noticed sooner. We should have been there for you. We love you we aren't going to send you to a home. Your staying here with us. Nothing is going to change that. I promise we will be here for you more often." Soda said. I nodded while still crying. We let go and went back down stairs. By now all the gang was over and looking at us. Pony looked at me trying to ask if I told them. I nodded my head yes and he came up too me. He hugged me and petted my hair to calm me down. I didn't know I was still crying but I was. Soda and Darry was telling the guys what I told them. Steve came up to me and pulled up my sleeve. His eyes got really huge and looked down at me since I was smaller than him. He pulled me into a hug and told me not to do that again. I nodded and hugged him back. I keep getting hugs from everyone and sweet words in my ear. I smiled knowing that they love me. I went over to Johnny and pony. I put my head in Johnny's lap and my legs on Pony's lap. I fell asleep with Johnny playing with my hair and a smile on my face.
