White's POV
I woke up feeling dizzy. I'm holding my head while roaming my eyes around the room but I suddenly heard a voice in the corner.
"I'm very sorry!" I saw Shadow bowing his head while apologizing to me.
"You are---" I didn't even finish my sentence when he hastily stormed out of the room.
I was supposed to say that he's already forgiven but seems like he doesn't want to hear it.
Mukhang napilitan lang syang humingi ng tawad dahil hindi man lang sya tumingin sakin.
Narinig ko ang pagbukas at pagsara nang pinto at sa aking paglingon ay nakita ko si Black na naglalakad habang may hawak na tray, papalapit ito sa kinahihigaan ko.
"Patawad kung iniwan Kitang Kasama si Shadow kahit alam kong kaya nyang gawin ang bagay na yun sayo"pambungad nya sakin.
Inilapag nya ang dalang pagkain sa mesang katabi nang aking higaan at umupo sya sa gilid ng kama.
"Ayos ka na ba? May masakit ba sayo? Ano magsalita ka naman!" Sabi nya habang hawak ang kaliwa kong kamay
"Okay na ako atsaka wag mo nang isipin ang nangyari. Napatawad ko narin naman si Shadow eh. Sa katunayan nga ay narito sya kanina at humingi na sya ng tawad sakin." Sabi ko na naging dahilan nang pagkunot ng kanyang noo.
"He apologized?"
"Yes!"
"That's strange"
"Bakit Black?"
"Shadow never apologized to anyone before even if it's his fault. What he did now is quite unusual to me"
Does that mean....I am an exemption?
"Siya nga pala, matanong ko lang, anak mo ba talaga si Shadow?" He suddenly smirk at me and asked me in a teasing manner.
"Are you really that interested?"
"No, I'm just curious!"
Bumuntong hininga sya.
"I guess it can't be helped. Well, honestly, he's not my biological son and I only adopted him because I saw his potential. He was just fortunate enough that I was looking for a heir to my empire and I choose him"
So that's why. He needs a successor but why can't he just impregnate a woman? In that case, his successor will be as strong as he is.
Siguro nga ay narinig nya ang hinaing ng aking isip at sya ay nagpaliwanag.
"I knew that you're wondering of why can't I just impregnate a woman, right?" I just nod my head in response.
"I don't want to because I don't want to ruin my plans in the future"
I wonder what kind of plan that is but I'm pretty sure that it's wicked.
We suddenly heard a knock on the door and one of shadows babysitter came in view.
"Lord Black,Mistress. The young master is making trouble again"
"What did he do this time?" Black asked.
The babysitter was hesitant at first but when he saw Black's dark face and his eyes burning with unnamed emotions, he trembled in fear and with his voice stuttering, he uttered this words....
