A.N. Would ya'll be okay with me skipping to the end of Infinity War? Also, would you be interested in my creating a one-shot book for the MCU overall, it'll have AUs, song fics, things that I didn't think would fit in this book. I will warn you though that it won't be updated as often as this story, if you still want to see it though let me know and if you have any requests for one-shots.

Natasha's P.O.V.

"How have you been?" I asked, walking up to hug the young Sokovian girl. During the embrace, I glanced over her shoulder to see a blonde man that wouldn't have gotten a second look on the street if not for the bright glowing gem embedded in his forehead.

"It's been good," Wanda threw a glance over her shoulder, which I could only assume was full of love as it was returned with a smile from the man. "I've been teaching Vis how to actually cook, and we have yet to burn anything down. Although seasoning to flavor is still a struggle." The sorceress grabbed my hand and led me away from our little reunion.

We were currently in some sheep pasture in the middle of Scotland as it was the only place where we could inconspicuously land the quinjet, although the wet cold that seemed to permeate every fiber of my clothing did make me miss the winters in Russia - at least that was a dry cold.

"So, while Vis and I have been able to meet up again, I have to ask, how are you and Barton?"

I had to chuckle, I always forget how young Wanda is, after all she's been through so much, but this question gave away her young years. If this were another universe, I could imagine Wanda asking that to her dormmate.

"I haven't been able to get in contact with him but I think the deal that he got was about two years of house arrest followed by probation, so I'll wait until after house arrest and no one is breathing down his neck." I cross my arms and flash my fake smile, something I've been doing more of over the past few years.

"I can't imagine being away from Vision for that long."

I shrug, "You're still in the honeymoon stage, at some point you'll figure out it's not always about being at the other's side all the time, but rather not being at their side but knowing in yourself that it's ok. However, this visit wasn't just for catch-up and relationship counseling."

The girl looks down and stabs the soft ground with the toe of her boot, "You want me to go back out there?" The accent leaking into Wanda's voice let me know that the proposition was making the young adult uncomfortable.

I set a hand on Wanda's shoulder giving her a comforting squeeze, "This won't be like last time, this will be thugs and gun runners meeting in places far from crowds. I promise you that you won't be put in a situation like what happened in Lagos."

"What are you doing? I mean I didn't think that weapon smugglers were Avenger, or at least ex-Avenger, level threats."

I let out a soft chuckle, "Normally they're not, but when they start smuggling alien weapons, we have to step in. We tried cutting off some of the root systems, but we could use a lot more help." I felt bad trying to coerce the girl into coming with us, but I knew she was needed so we could have bigger guns than the bad guys.

Wanda glanced over her shoulder to look at where the men were gathered – I wondered if Steve had asked Vision about Tony. I knew what was on the girl's mind and I hoped I knew how to quell her more personal worries.

"How about we make a deal. If you come with us, you can leave to have visits with your boyfriend whenever you want, as long as you keep a steady stream of contact with us during your getaways. Besides if you and Vision just stay here living amongst the sheep Tony's bound to start looking into what's going on and even if Vison has turned his tracker off, which I assume he has, Tony's pretty unstoppable when he has his mind set on something. I mean let's not forget the man shut down the largest money-making portion of his company when he found it was causing other's harm"

The brunette nodded, stuffing her hands into her pockets, a new gleam appearing in her eyes. "I can take a break whenever I want?" I nodded in confirmation. "Well, then Miss Romanoff I think we have a deal." I extended my hand and the two of us shook on it before a pulled the younger women into my side before throwing an arm around her shoulders and escorting her back to the group.

"When are we leaving?" Wanda asked as we approached the group again.

"Not till tomorrow. I think that we're all too jetlagged for anyone to fly a second longer, besides that, I know a really good kabob place in Edenborough that I have to show you. Speaking of which remind me to give you the number of a friend I know before you break away from the group again. I'm not sure if he's back in England or not, but Hunter has more than enough connections here that he might be able to make sure that you don't get put in a tight spot."

The girl just nods as we reunite with the rest of the group and I finally got to demonstrate a real smile as I saw my makeshift family begin to gather again.
