Short information: I'm not sure if you remember, but Jason and his best friend Kail have been "kidnapped" by Katie (Jason's mother). They are both trapped and try to escape.

I hope you like this part. There are only two more chapters to go until this story ends.

*Jason's pov.*

-Two hours before the call-

»What's this?«

»An alarm«, Kail responds.

We stare at each other confused as all of a sudden we hear someone scream outside. My eyes turn to the door and only then someone opens it. This could be our chance to escape, I think to myself. But when I see the person entering the room my jaw drops.

»Dad?«, I wonder and blink a few times to make sure he is really here.

I quickly examine him and notice a bleeding bruise on his forehead. His plain white shirt which is supposed to be tucked in his jeans is now partly ripped and full of dust. It seems like he's been through a bomb attack.

»We don't have much time, son«, he says and rushes towards me.

Swiftly he releases me from the cuffs around my wrist and my feet. I stand up from the hard ground moving both my legs and my hands. In the meantime my father frees Kail from his shackles.

»What are you doing here, dad?«, I ask him after we're all unfettered.

»What does it look like? I'm helping you escape this pit«, he responds and before I can interrupt him he continues,»You have to leave! There is a glass door to the left at the end of the corridor outside. Usually, there is security, but I've taken care of it. When you are outside there is a black Range Rover parked right in front of the door. Take it and drive away!«

I frown not being quite able to process the current situation. If only Y/n was here...She would know what to tell me to make me feel less overwhelmed. I take a look at the open door behind my father and see red lights fill the corridor. It's only a matter of time till someone finds out what's happening. We have to leave!

I face Kail who's already staring at me and nod my head signaling that I approve my father's plan and am ready to leave this place. But before we rush out of the room I look at my father one more time.

»What about you?«

»I will be fine«, he answers giving me a reassuring smile.

I bite my lower lip nervously not wanting to leave my father alone, but if we don't escape now who knows what happens next.

»Thank you«, I tell him and want to rush out of the room as suddenly my head tells me to stop.

Once again I face my father while Kail makes sure no one is coming.

»Is Y/FN here?«, I ask remembering her being taken.

»She was, but I freed her too«, my dad replies and without further ado I leave the room.

Kail follows me and we make it to the glass door without any problems. As fast as humanly possible we run towards the big vehicle. I open the car door and notice the key already plugged in the ignition. With a swift motion I climb in the driver's seat. Kail sits in the passenger's seat and I start the engine. Quickly I drive away from the building, the company of my parents, and am surprised as no one tries to stop us.

Only minutes later we are on the highway free from any kind of danger.

»What was that, dude?«, Kail blurts out after sometime of silence,»I mean...for a moment there I felt like I was in some kind of action movie.«

»You and me both, buddy«, I reply while rewinding the previous event over and over again in my head.

»But I have to admit it's not as cool as it is in the-«

»Oh my god«, I interrupt him as I recall something Y/FN told us some days ago.

»What is it?«, Kail wonders worried.

I look at him briefly and sigh.

»We forgot about the antidote«

»Shit«, he curses under his breath.

We forgot about the only thing that can bring back our memories.

I shake my head frustrated and hit the steering wheel with my hand. Kail lets out a deep breath beside me and runs his fingers through his tousled hair.

»It's whatever, man. The only important thing is that we're out«, he says, but I can hear the disappointment in his voice.

However, he is right. We've managed to escape. God, I can't wait to see Y/n again. To hold her. To hear her cute voice. To... But we can't get in contact with the others yet. First we need to find a safe place to hide.

Suddenly a picture of my sister Lana pops up in my head. The last time I've seen her she was held hostage by that bastard Maison. As soon as all of this is over I will have a little chat with him.

»We should probably go to Clara's place«

»Are you sure?«, he wonders.

»Yeah«, I respond,»My mother would never find us there and Clara will surely be glad to help us.«

An hour later we're at Clara's house. We've showered and eaten. Luckily, Clara has some clothes for us to wear otherwise we would've had to walk around with those uncomfortable pantsuits.

»Thanks for letting us stay here...again«

»Of course! Anything for you, Jay«, she replies and I give her a small smile.

She is actually a very generous and helpful person and I hate to use her feelings for me for my "needs". A part of me wishes I fell in love with her. It would've been a lot less complicated as it is now. But there is this indescribable connection between Y/n and I that I can't deny. From the moment I saw her at the back of the school I couldn't get her out of my head. I have feelings for her and I know for a fact that she does too. But with all of the things going on with my parents and her parents I can't blame her for not wanting to be together with me. It's just sad because we're supposed to fall in love with each other. I can feel it.

Swiftly I grab my phone from the coffee table in front of me and dial her number. Please pick up. Please pick up. Please...

»Hello?«, I perceive her sweet voice say through the speaker.

»Hey, babe«, I say teasingly,»Did you miss me?«
