Part 13

*Your pov.*

Completely tired I enter the huge school building. Still half asleep I walk to my locker and grab my stuff for the next lesson. I sigh deeply as one of my books falls on the ground. Slowly I kneel down. Suddenly someone takes my book and I quickly stand up again.

»What the-«, I start to say but before I can finish the sentence I catch sight of the person in front of me,»Y/FN?«

»Yes, I'm back, darling!«, she replies giving me my book back smiling big.

Shocked I stare at her with my mouth wide open. After that I instantly embrace her in a huge hug. 

»I missed you so much«, I tell her feeling tears form in my eyes. 

»I missed you, too Y/N«, she responds wrapping her arms tight around my body.

Some seconds later we stop our actions and look at each other.

»Y-you changed«, I say examining my best friend.

»We haven't seen each other for a long time«

»For like seven years«, I reply and a silence follows.

We both stare at the ground for a short moment before looking at each other again. 

»I thought you moved to south Africa because your parents started an important organization there«, I break the quietness.

»We were in South Africa«, she explains,»But I decided to come back here since I'm older now.«

»Your whole family returned to our city?«, I ask excitedly.

»Not exactly«, she answers,»My parents are still in Africa but I couldn't take it any longer without you so I came back.«

Touched I look at her. Feeling a teardrop run down my cheek I quickly whipe it away.

»Well, I am happy that you are back, bestie«, I laugh lightly out of complete happiness.

I have my best friend back, I think to myself. Y/FN was always by my side till her parents decided to move out of the country. I thought I'd never see her again. 

»I am also so glad to have you back«, she says and I notice tears in her eyes,»It's good to have your little sister back.«

After those words left her lips I can't help but start to cry. Immediately Y/FN wraps her arms around me.

»Don't cry, bestie«, she says whipping my tears away and I laugh softly,»I will make a party today.«

Puzzled I look at her.

»Like a welcome home party?«

»Yes and I want to invite you. Please say you will come«, she tells me and I smile big.

»Why not«, I shrug my shoulder,»But I have to ask my parents first.«

»Your parents?«, Y/FN wonders and I see confusion in her eyes.

»Yes and I have to ask my brother since he wanted to go swimming with me today«, I reply.

»Your brother?«, she asks as if she doesn't know my family.

»Is everything okay, Y/FN?«, I wonder when she doesn't say anything.

She nods her head and looks at me.

»I think I have to go register myself in this school now«, she explains,»We will see us tonight.«

Confused I stare at her but only nod and walk in my class. Bored I enter my class room and take a seat at one of the tables. Some minutes pass and I notice someone missing. Jason is not in the room. This morning he wasn't in my bed neither.

This sounded wrong, I think to myself and quickly quit the thought. 

I hope he's okay.

*Jason's pov.*

»Did you see my blue jacket somewhere?«, I hear Kail shout from the bathroom.

»Nope«, I reply checking myself out in the mirror.

»Woah, bro«, Kail says as he catches sight of my figure.

»What do you think?«, I wonder.
»You will totally get laid tonight, dude«, he grins and I smirk looking at the black suit I'm wearing.

I run my hands through my soft hair and put on a golden bracelet before leaving my bedroom. Quickly I walk down some stairs.

»Come on, Kail! It's already 8 pm«, I call out while slipping in my white supras.

Waiting for my best friend I check my phone. Surprised I stare at the lockscreen when I notice a missed call from Y/n. She must be worried about me because I wasn't in school today. I just wasn't in the mood and my parents aren't at home so double win for me. 

But why would she care anyways?, I ask myself.

»I'm ready«, Kail interrupts my thoughts,»Let's go!«

I shake my head lightly to wake up from my little trance before we finally walk out of the house. 

»You still have your old Bugatti?«, Kail wonders as we climb in my car.

»Yes, it reminds me of many memories I don't want to lose«, I tell him and he smiles.

After some minutes of driving we arrive the huge house of Y/FN.

»Damn, this is a freaking mansion«, Kail says and I agree.

Slowly we walk up to the big white house in front us. Many people are to be seen outside and I honestly don't really want to know how many are inside. 

»Hey«, a girl greets me when we stand at the front door.

»Hey«, I say and shake her hand that's when our eyes meet and I feel something weird in my stomach.

She seems to feel the same since her eyes got wide open. 

»Jason?«, she wonders and I take away my hands from her grip.

»How do you know my name?«, I ask her sternly.

»Uhm, I researched some names when I arrived here«, she explains but I notice the nervousness in her voice,»We are in the same class now.«

I look at Kail for a moment not believing her whole story.

»Hey, I'm Kail«, he greets her to stop the uncomfortable atmosphere between me and Y/FN.

»Please, come in and enjoy the party«, she says and leaves us.

This will be a great party! Note the sarcasm.
