*Your pov.*

»Mom? Dad?«, I shout as I walk into my house.

Switching on the lights I hear footsteps approaching me. Swiftly I take off my shoes and sigh relieved when I catch sight of my mom standing in the small corridor.

»Hey, honey! Finally you're back«, she says with a petite smile on her face.

I feel some tears form in my eyes. Before my mom can see my exhausted self I wrap my arms around her body.

»I missed you!«

»Aw we missed you too, sweetheart«, she replies embracing me in a tight hug.

It feels good to be home again. I wasn't gone for a long time but I'm glad to be away from this liar aka Jason. He lied to me and I can't believe that I trusted him. Who knows what of all the things he told me is even true. Probably he only wanted to get in my pants.

»Are you hungry, sweetie? I made some pancakes«, my mom asks when I pull away from her embracement.

A wide smile appears on my lips and I nod. I don't know why I am so happy. But I guess it's just because I can be sure now that they are my real family and I'm not adopted. That was definitely one of Jason's lies as well. I'm so done with him.

»Hey, honey!«, my dad greets me as I enter the living room.

Instantly I make my way to the sofa he's sitting on and take a seat beside him. The new's channel is shown on the tv and I turn around facing my mom. She's preparing the wonderful smelling pancakes in the kitchen.

»I have to apologize for not telling you where I was yesterday. But I can explain-«

»You don't have to, Y/n«, my dad replies making me look at him in disbelief,»Austin already told us you were at a friend's house.«

»Oh, did he?«, I wonder.

Surprised I stare at my father. Why would Austin do that after all I've done?, I ask myself. He did a serum deal and that's not right but he's still my brother and I didn't believe him when he said Jason does those deals too. I'm a terrible sister.

»Were you with this Jason guy?«, my mom wants to know while she places a plate of fresh pancakes in front of me on the table,»He's cute.«

»No!«, I raise my voice,»He's an asshole!«

»Watch your language, young lady!«, my dad tells me and I try to calm down again.

I grab one of the warm pancakes and take a tiny bite. I'm not really hungry anymore but I want to avoid the embarrassing conversation with my parents.

»He seemed like a nice guy«

»Sorry, mom but Jason is the total opposite. He's a troublemaker«

»You don't have to be sorry. I just thought you liked him because he seemed to like you«, she responds and I gulp down hard.

Suddenly some memories pop up in my mind. I remember our kiss in his car and our make out session at Y/FN's party. A rush of emotions floods my body. Before a tear can fall down my cheek I hear someone enter the house. Immediately I walk up to the front door.

»Austin!«, I say happily.

Quickly I hug his tall body. He laughs at my action but lays his hands on my head so I'd face him.

»I'm so sorry! I should've believed you-«

»Hey it's okay, sis. I will make sure he won't come near you ever again«, he says making me feel much more comfortable.

Again I embrace him in a tight hug. For one moment I catch myself imagining it is Jason who I'm hugging. Instantly I try to shake those thoughts away.

»I think I'll go to sleep now. It was a long day«, I tell my brother and he nods understanding.

After I tell my parents good night I lock myself in my room. I take a deep breath and slowly take off my clothes. As I put on my black sweatpants a message pops up on my mobile screen. Half naked I grab my phone and freeze when I read the text. It's from Jason. He's outside of my house and wants me to open the window. Not knowing what to do I pull on my top and step to the window. I see my hands trembling lightly and I start to overthink my actions. Should I do it?

»Thanks«, I hear his deep husky voice say as I let him jump in my room.

Nervously I examine him. He wears some grey sweatpants and a golden watch on his wrist.

»I-I don't know why I let you in but you better not make me regret it«

»I won't«, he replies looking me straight in the eyes,»I promise.«

As I admire his gorgeous face I can't seem to stop. It's as if I'm trying to engrave every detail of his face in my head.

»Why are you here?«, I wonder harshly.

»I know this might sound creepy but me and some my friends went back to the hospital and the doctors gave us these«, Jason starts to explain.

He shows me some syringes and I immediately recognize them. The things he's holding in his hands are the serums.

»What? Did you come here to make me forget all the bad things you did?«

»No! I didn't do anything!«, he responds making me scoff,»The doctors found these in Max's jeans pocket and now I'm glad I met my friend Mike. He has much knowledge in technics and stuff like that.«

»What's the point?«, I wonder impatiently.

Then I watch him take out a little mashine from his dark blue jacket pocket.

»There are fingerprints on the syringes and with this mashine, which Mike gave me, you're able to find out from whom the fingerprints are«, Jason explains making me curious.

Biting my lip softly I look at him only to catch him already staring at me.

»From whom are the fingerprints? Spill it out, McCann!«, I say forcefully.

He smirks a bit as I mention his last name and I can't help but feel my cheeks flush red for a moment.

»I didn't see the results yet. I wanted to see it with you«, he tells me while his gaze travels down to my lips.

My heart begins to beat faster as I examine his lips as well. But fastly I snap out of my thoughts

»Show me!«

»On three I'll press the button which will show us the results«, Jason says and I nod,»One...two...three!«

He taps the red button and a picture appears on the small screen from the mashine. When I see the result I can't believe my own eyes.

»Mom?«, Jason whipsers beside me.
