Callie's POV

I watched him walk out of the locker room in a hurry, the very sight breaking my heart. He was running from me, from me. I mean I knew when we had first started seeing each other when we first began our careers here that it was nothing serious. We even both had made a pact on the fact that it was casual, that we were only seeing each other because we had no time to properly date. Somewhere in between that though I had caught feelings for him. I know I shouldn't have but I thought that if I laid myself at his feet he would choose me, it was safe to say he didn't.

"Cal, what's wrong", Tess my best friend and our co worker asked once she saw me.

"I tried to talk to Harry and he literally ran out of the locker room when I did so", I sniffles.

"Oh sweetheart", she sighed and hugged me.

"I don't get it, how can I still love him when he doesn't love me. I mean, he's married for Christ sakes and I still love him", I sobbed as she rubbed my back.

"You have to move on, he loves Y/n to much to cheat or leave her. That's his soul mate and now you have to find yours", she said the words I didn't want to hear.

It should have sunk into me when she said that, she said the exact same thing 3 years ago when I found out Harry proposed to the woman that stole the love of my life away. Yet here I was, three years later still trying to vie for his attention. Still trying to let him see that I was the best one for him. Yet it all went unnoticed, he loved her and there was nothing anyone could do about it.
