The nerves I had been feeling ever since I realized I might be pregnant never ceases, I knew it was inevitable so I had made an appointment with my doctor. I sat there in my paper gown waiting for her to come check me out and to tell me of the results after peeing in a cup.
"Good morning Mrs. Styles! How are we today?", my doctor smiled as she entered the exam room.
"I'm well", I smiled back at her.
"Alright, so it says here that you've been experiencing nausea and throwing up in the morning. As well as fatigue and your breasts have been tender", she asked as she read over my chart.
"Yes, I wanted to come in because I realized I have missed my period", I added.
"Ok, so the nurse had you pee in a cup and we did a pregnancy test. I'll examine you first and then I'll go ahead and grab the results of the test. If you can please lie down and put your feet in the stirrups, I'll examine you first".
