I could hear faint mumbling as my brain started to come to, when I opened my eyes I was kind of startled to see it was still dark. I had expected it to be light, sitting up slightly in bed I saw Harry with his phone pushed up to his ear. Fixing my blanket over my body, I fully sat up in bed and reached over to turn on one of our lamps in our room. This immediately caught Harry's attention, he smiled at me once his head snapped in my direction. I smiled back and waited patiently for him to finish his conversation.

"Who was that love", I smiled as he made his way towards me.

"The captain. Two major fires broke out in Malibu and Woosley, I got to suit up and go out there", he sighed sitting next to me.

I took a deep breath and gulped, my heart dropped into my stomach. I was hoping this day would never come, where he would have to be in the line of duty. I mean I knew at some point he would have to be on the field and in the front lines fighting fires and saving lives. The thought though that was becoming a reality was scary. I couldn't loose him, I just couldn't. I wasn't dumb to think that he absolutely wouldn't get hurt or killed. It could happen.

"Hey, what's wrong?", I didn't realize I was crying till he cupped my face and wiped my tears with his thumbs.

"I'm just scared for you, what if something happens out there? What if I loose you?", I cried silently.

"Hey nothing will..", he started but I interrupted him.

"Baby, I'm not dumb. I'm not blissfully ignorant enough to think that absolutely nothing will happen to you. You're putting your life in danger, just please promise me you'll be careful", I pulled him into a hug.

"I won't. Im going to be thinking about you the entire time I'm away, I won't do anything stupid that would jeopardize my life", he held me tight.
