~~~~~Timeskip~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today was the day that Moonpaw would become a sister. Her mother was in the twoleg closet with Muddy. Moonpaw sighed and stared at her paws with absolute silence. She sighed into her tail as it curled up around her. In the distance, yowls of her mother rose high above the soft sweet chirp of the birds and the swaying of the trees. Moonpaw couldn't take the torture of her mother's screaming figure in her young mind. Although she didn't know what birthing was like, nor did she know where the kit came out, she knew that kitting was painful. As Moonpaw prayed to Starclan for mercy, the yowling suddenly stopped. Her black tipped ears flicked around the room. Silence. Moonpaw stalked toward the closet, continuing to listen for any sudden sounds at all. As she got closer, she heard soft purring and words of congratulations. Moonpaw smiled brightly.
"I am officially a sister."
~~~~~3 Moons Later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Harekit, watch where you're going!" Stonepelt purred. "But Mama, the twig jumped in front of me!" "Of course it did, sweetie." Meanwhile, a cat watched jealously from a distance. Her golden eyes flashed with hatred as Harekit smirked at her.  She then realized why her sister was smirking. Soon a 'Thump!' was heard as an acorn was thrown at her head. This cat's name was Moonpaw. Ever since Harekit learned how to speak, Moonpaw was in deep trouble. Harekit always tattled on Moonpaw for the most mouse-brained things. like stealing food, or not sharing a toy. Of course Moonpaw was only guilty of a few of these. As Moonpaw got up and snarled at Harekit, her sister ran over to Stonepelt. "Moonpaw hissed at me!" Harekit whined with her blue eyes wide open and teary. Stonepelt purred soothing words to her and then gave a death glare to Moonpaw. Harekit smirked and went back to acting like she was hurt. "Filthy piece of foxdung that one is." Moonpaw hissed to herself.

"One of these days I'll escape..."

Soon a glitter of a purple collar caught Moonpaw's attention. A Black furred tom-cat with a white paw. "Hmmm He seems older than me..." Moonpaw thought out loud. Soon the tom turned and stared at her. He had the most beautiful icy blue eyes Moonpaw had ever seen. The only ones in fact. He smiled and nodded before he jumped off the fence and went into his twoleg nest, his bell tinkling as he walked with such grace.
"Woah." Moonpaw thought as her mind went wild. "Maybe I'll talk to him tomorrow..." She blushed at the thought.

"Tomorrow it is then."
