After the encounter with Tiny, Moonpaw bounded back home and came across a worried mother... Which was hers.

"Moonpaw! I've been looking everywhere for you!" Stonepelt rushed over to her kit.

"I-I'm sorry mother..." Moonpaw sniffled.

"What's wrong, sweetie?"

"M-my best friend... L-left me..."

"Was it that black cat? Aww it's alright, we all lose friends sometimes..." Stonepelt assured.

Moonpaw shook her head and walked into the kitchen. There were fresh pellets waiting to be eaten. She sighed and dragged her tail over to where her food was and started picking at her food with her claws. Stonepelt gave Moonpaw a worried look then walked over to Harekit and started to groom her. Moonpaw glanced at her family then back at her food. She hesitantly started to chow down on the tasteless brown pellets while giving short glances to the outside world of the fenced in area.
Moonpaw soon finished her awkward meal and plopped down on her bedding. She slept in a different place since Harekit complained that Moonpaw snored.
Harekit walked over to Moonpaw and smirked. She sat right in front of her sister. Moonpaw growled softly before covering her face with her tail.

"What's wrong sis? Cat got your tongue?" Harekit teased.

"Just leave me alone..."

"Hmm maybe not just any cat but that worthless scrawny cat that you like? Yeah." Harekit ignored her sister's order.

"I said... LEAVE ME ALONE." Moonpaw lashed out and swiped Harekit's muzzle.

Harekit gave out a shriek of pain and landed on the floor in front of Moonpaw. Blood gushed out of her nose and muzzle region. Moonpaw stared in horror as Stonepelt rushed over and licked at the wound. Harekit just flailed her paws everywhere as the licking continued. Moonpaw heard the terrible screeches of pain that were produced by her sister. Stonepelt soon looked straight at Moonpaw with her fearful and dominant deep blue eyes.

"You will not be a warrior. You never will be!" She snarled.

Moonpaw looked at her sister, then back at her paws. Tears brimmed in the corners of her beautiful, horror-filled golden eyes. She rushed over to the cat door and bounded outside. Moonpaw pounced onto the fence post and stared at the moon with curiosity and sadness.

"Why did you let me do this, Starclan? Why?"

Moonpaw curled up and sobbed into her long black-tipped tail. She stayed like that until the moon seemed high enough. She stared at her birthplace and back at the forest. Tiny didn't go into the forest but he headed toward twolegplace so Moonpaw decided to go there. From then on Moonpaw didn't have much faith for Starclan. She still believed, but didn't worship them as much as she had.

Moonpaw bounded through the thick bushes that her twolegs planted. Then she followed the thunderpath to twolegplace. She had never seen a monster in action before... Just in its den at night until now. They were the most scariest things since she heard about Shadowclan. They had metallic-like pelts with black feet and scary glowing eyes. Moonpaw soon came to a problem- She would have to cross the thunderpath to get to twolegplace. Moonpaw mentally face-pawed herself.
Why didn't she think of that? Soon the time came for the dreadful deed. Moonpaw looked both ways and decided that it was safe.
She quickly ran as fast as her little legs could carry her. A pair of bright lights blinded her vision as she tripped and leaped back up in fright.
Moonpaw gasped and ran across to the other side before the monster could even touch her. It passed by and swerved... Then it crashed into a tree and screeched. Moonpaw flinched but kept moving on. Soon the twolegplace was plain in sight. She bounded over to the nearest alleyway and walked slowly into it.
She saw several pairs of eyes staring at her from a distance. Moonpaw gulped.
