Warriors: The Rise of Moonfur

Chapter 11

<Moonfur's POV>

I stood under the dump, lapping at a newly formed puddle that appeared during the storm at sun-high. My black-tipped tail curled around my legs to protect them from the chilling cold. I shivered a bit before slowly walking into the dump. A pair of flashing eyes appeared in the corner.  "Greetings, Moonfur." I gave a curt nod of greeting. "I would like you to meet someone... Or otherwise... Two someones..." The Cloudclan leader mewed. I narrowed my eyes and asked. "Who, may I ask?"
Another pair of eyes started to glow in the faint light. They were a lime green color. Another soon followed behind. Amber ones this time.
"I'm Frogleap. I'm the new third-in-command." The cat beside Sand spoke. The cat stepped out of the darkness and into light.
She was all black with ginger paws and a ginger-tipped tail. She also had a blonde-gold mask-marking on her face. With an orange collar and teeth lined upon it.
I nodded. "Pleased to meet you. I'm Moonfur as you may or may not know." I replied.
My paws played with my tail as I stared behind Frogleap and at the amber eyes behind her. "Who might your friend be?" The eyes followed Frogleap's and then locked with mine. The cat that owned them came into the light to stand beside Frogleap. "I am Scratchclaw... But I prefer Scratch." The she-cat was all black with a green collar. She had a long scratch upon her left eye that had scarred. I could understand how she got her name. 

"These two will be working with you until I die. Then that will be for you to decide."

I nodded at Sand's remark. The others followed along. Of course now Frogleap is my Deputy... And I am leader. Sand died of disease later on...So that made me leader. Of course all of Cloudclan is required to have collars with teeth now that I accepted the role. I have heard rumors that another twolegplace clan is copying our customs. I am sure that one of these cats will finally tell me the truth once my plan is complete.
