Just can't catch a break

2 weeks later.

Things didn't get better between Shawn and Camila, Shawn wasn't trying to sabotage Mila's career anymore, and thank goodness for that, but their apartment was just filled with unresolved tension, the tension was so thick that only a sword that was enchanted by a witch could cut through it.

Shawn slept in another room while Camila slept in the room that was once theirs and though she missed his presence next to her whenever she woke up, missed the mornings she'd fake sleeping so she would hear him whisper I love you to her, believing she was asleep and miss the kisses he'd give her on the forehead before he went to take a shower, she'd be lying if she said she wasn't grateful for the distance between them she needed it, needed the space to think about how completely and utterly fu•cked she was.

She should have told Shawn she was going to terminate the pregnancy when she had a chance, goodness knows she was supposed to, but the way Shawn looked at her with such pleading eyes, begging her to keep their non-existent baby, and she couldn't bring herself to say it.

"I'm such an idiot, " Camila said as she laid down on the king-sized bed, with her face in the pillow.

"What the hell am I going to do in the next couple of months?" She asked herself, sitting up on the bed and hugging her knees to her chest. She was stuck between a rock and a hard place, and she was in this alone with no one to help her no mom, no friends, and no Shawn.

Oh, Shawn.

Shawn wasn't perfect, but he was the closest to heaven she was ever going to get and what does she do when the universe gives him to her? Strings him along, for the past 4 years, knowing perfectly well how he felt about her, uses him to boast her solo career, then she has the audacity to fall in love with him, and lastly, shamelessly lies to him about a pregnancy that was not real and for what? Only so he can find out later and leave her like he should have the second he realized she was nothing but a spotlight-loving witch.

Her train of thought was stopped when she heard a knock on the door, it was Shawn probably with another milkshake or candy bar for her to eat because it was 8:40 PM and she hadn't come out of her room the whole day.

"Camila?" Shawn said on the other side of the door, "I brought you a chocolate milkshake, you need to eat."

Camila reluctantly made it towards the door and opened it.

"Mila I know you said you didn't feel hungry but-" Shawn paused and stared at her with eyes filled with concern.

"Mila," He said softly, guilt was evident in her voice, he placed the milkshake on the ground and placed his hands on either side of her face, and wiped away the tears.

"You've been crying," Shawn stated, what did he do this time? Was giving her space a bad idea? Did it seem like he was ignoring her? "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Shawn said pulling her into a  hug.

Camila didn't even know she'd been until Shawn touched her teary cheeks, could she be any more pathetic?

She knows Shawn thinks it's his fault she's upset, and he's right, but he got it all wrong he's not the problem she is.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," This time it's Camila who was apologizing, "it's okay, whatever it is, it's okay," Shawn assured her.

"I'm so sorry," Camila cried, she even didn't know what she was apologizing for at that point, all she knew was that she was sorry.

"You need to eat." Shawn said, resting his head on top of Camila's head, "if you can't do it for me, do it for the baby."

Camila sighed into his sweater and fought hard to resist telling Shawn the baby isn't real and Lilly was the one who was pregnant not her.
