The end of kali iris part 1

Kali's POV

I felt my lips tug into a smile.
"Kali?" Sodapops voice was echoed "Kali..." I felt his body move away. "Kali Iris wake up!" Steve's voice suddenly made his way into my dream. Aw shit. It was just a dream. My body woke up completely and stared up at soda, steve, twobit, and pony.
"Why'd you wake me up!?" I asked frustrated.

"You've been asleep since 1, c'mon kali let's get those legs movin" Twobit swung his legs and arms around crazily.

"How 'bout no. Anyways you sound like a informational video two. Okay, night" I smiled and put the blanket over my head. I can't wrap my mind around how real that dream was! I remember every minute of it, leaving the house, seeing dally, josh punching me, and them soda and I making out.

"No no no kali." Sodapop started. "You've been laying there for awhile now. let's go on a walk to the DX"

I frowned, then a light bulb went off. "But my knee, I should rest it" even though it didn't even hurt. I smirked slightly which gave it away

"Liar!" Pony yelled. "Bull shit! She's fine" ponyboy covered his mouth right after he said it. Darry shot him a look.

"Language ponyboy" he warned turning back to the paper.

Everyone's attention was back on me.
"I could go for a walk" Johnny added, shoving his hands in his pockets and joining the huddle.

"What the hell, I'm in too" dally huffed and stood next to Johnny.

"Y'all have fun!" I smiled a fake smile and laid back down, shoving my face in the side of the couch. "Well I guess this will have to be done the hard way." Steve mumbled. Whispers flew around the air and shuffling began. I didn't know what the hard way was, and I didn't want to. Suddenly twelve attackers began to tickle me. I freaked out and jumped all over the place, flinging my arms and striking my legs against anything that harmed me.

That went on for about two minutes until Twobit had my legs and sodapop had my arms pinned against the couch. "Stop it y'all," darry yelled. And continued.
"Kali Iris quit being a wuss and go outside! Clearly you're fine if you can swat at the boys that long" I squirmed out of their grasps as they were shocked Darry yelled at me. The boys all just kind of stood watching me slip on my shoes.
"Well.... aren't we going somewhere?" I said and tossed sodapop his jacket. They all shrugged and walked towards me. I stepped out of their way of the door and let them pass as I went to Darry and kissed his forehead. "Thank you..." I whispered. I could feel him tense up a little. "For everything" I said not making eye contact with him.

So you could say my blondness got to me... I'm wearing a more on the thick side lace long sleeve shirt Steve bought for me and skinny jeans with black converse and a bandana. All of this is black just to remind you again. so I was freezing.

"Grab a jacket!" Darry yelled as I closed the door. But if that was my last encounter with him... ever. I wanted to end it on something very special. Sodapop waited for me at the gate, while everyone else was down the road. I must make this very clear, even if it hurts me to say this, soda and I are not a thing, it was all a dream last night.

"Hey! you look beautiful today!" I let a smile form.
"And is that what you tell all the girls!?!" I giggled and walked in front of him.
"What girls!?" We both began to laugh.
We kept moving our feet on the ground and looked into each other's eyes. Stupid idea, I know.
*bonk*
I stepped back and rubbed my head feeling a bump form. "Dear god, did I just run into a tree?" I exclaimed.
"No I'm afraid it was a Twobit. these are rare, I've never seen a Twobit so big. sodapop tried to keep a straight face.
I chuckled and rubbed my head. "Damn it two you got a thick skull" he grinned.
"I know I'm proud, so don't go ruining it! We heard you guys laughing and it's been so long that we all wanted to join in," Twobit said and waved the others over.
"Golly kali, we kinda forgot how your laugh sounds" Johnny blushed.
