Chapter 37

-Katniss' POV-

My uncle walks in. I feel my bottom lip start to quiver.

"I-I" is all I mange to get out.

"What Katniss?" My therapist asks.

"I-I k-killed him unless oh my god!" I say gasping. "I killed someone else who I thought was you!"

"Why do you think you killed him?"

"I saw him in the park and I got all worried he'd come and get me and take me home so he could hurt me"

"Okay take him out" He walks out.

"Katniss that's wasn't your uncle, I dressed someone up as him"

I sigh in relief, I start to calm down.

"But we do know you killed him, we just wanted to see your reaction when you saw him"

"Well it's him and my mother that caused it" I say folding my arms.

"So what was the first thing that came into your mind when you saw him?"

"How's he alive"

"Well he isn't if that makes you feel better" I nod.

"Okay then, I'll see you next week?" I nod.

"Bye Katniss"

"Bye" I say and walk out.

I walk through the front door and walk upstairs to my room and put my bag and shoes on the floor and hand my jacket up. I walk back downstairs with my phone and walk into the living room to see Peeta with the group doing homework.

"Hey, how was it?" He asks when he sees me.

"Shite" I answer. "I don't even know why I have to go! It's not like it helps me!"

"What did he do this time?"

"Faked a man to be my uncle"

"Oh"

"Yeah 'oh'" I say annoyed. "What homework you doing?"

"Math"

"Hahaha I don't have any because I'm in a higher set than you" I sing song, teasing him.

"Very funny" he says rolling his eyes.

"I should have stayed in Willow Tree high, it's much better"

"But then you wouldn't see your amazing boyfriend all day" he teases.

"I could live with that"

"I couldn't"

"Well that's because your obsessed with me" I say poking my tongue at him. "Now do your homework"
