*Richies POV*

Stan falls asleep in my arms and I've been sitting bored out of my mind not wanting to wake him for 1 hour.

I finally decide to try get up and I slowly push him off me gently.

I'm finally able to get up and just then Beverly walks through the door startling both Stan and I. This causes him to jump and fall on the floor. I burst out laughing and he rolls his eyes.

I pull him up and soon regret it when he pulls me down with him.

It hurts after everything my dad did and I wince. I don't want Stan to feel bad so I pretend it doesn't hurt. I groan and slowly scoot back to sit against the couch, holding my arm.

Stan sighs sadly.
"Sorry if I hurt you." He must of noticed me holding my arm and I make up and excuse.
"No! It's just because it's dead. I can barely feel it." I hold my arm up and smile nervously.

"Sorry for interrupting?" Beverly asks.
"Nah, we weren't doing anything anyways."
She nods.

"I can't sleep." She sighs and sits beside me against the couch.
"I'm the opposite."

"Seriously? After seeing a dead body?"

I sigh.
"I'm exhausted Bev. And I keep having nightmares about it anyways."

She also sighs.
"I can't believe she's gone. I can't believe that happened to her. Plus, the killer is still out there."

Stan gasps quietly and starts pacing up and down.
I get up slowly and and hold his arms to stop him.

He's clearly wincing as I hold his arms and I let go.

"What's wrong with your arms?.." I give him a suspicious look.
"Nothing!" He smiles nervously and I quickly pull up his sleeves.

His arms are covered in deep cuts and he quickly pulls them down.

"You.. cut yourself?.."
He just gives me a sad nod and hugs me. I rest my head against his shoulder and hold in my tears.

I can't believe he did that.
Beverly joins the hug and we all hug in a circle in my sitting room.

I let go and Beverly hugs Stan quickly and lets go.
"It will be okay." She whispers and he nods.
"Hopefully."

"Let's go to the meadow. Like we were meant to." I look at them and they nod reluctantly.

We walk outside into the shining sun.
I squint my eyes at it and almost laugh at the irony of it being so sunny when our lives are basically falling apart but I hold it in.

We get there and I stare in awe at all the beautiful varieties of colourful flowers.

There's pink, purple, white, yellow, blue,
orange.

Stan sits in the grass and lays on his back in it.

I lay beside him and take his hand.

After a few minutes, I let go and join Beverly. She's making a flower crown and look to her and smile. She smile softly.

"You wanna make one?" She offers.
"Yes I would love to."

There's flowers with pointy thorns sticking out of the stem and I decided on the thorny flowers because they're cool.

The petals are a light orange that fades into a dark orange on top.

I pick more of them and prick my fingers multiple times but I don't really care as little blood droplets appear on my fingers. I just shrug and continue weaving the flowers together.

Beverly places her vibrant flower crown with pink, purple and white atop her head and she looks adorable. I smile softly at her and she smiles back.

"You're making a flower crown with... thorns?" I shrug and nod.
"It looks cool and the colours of the flowers are pretty."

"Okay, cool!"

Beverly now begins picking out light red flowers and white ones. Bev now begins a flower crown with them and I'm guessing it's for Stan who is staring up at the sky and admiring it.

I can tell by the loving look on his face he normally gives me.
Unless it's secretly a hateful look. Then he's staring at the sky in disgust.

I now finish weaving it together and place it carefully on my head. I barely feel it there and I can't feel the thorns which is good.

I rub my bloody fingers on the grass and flop backwards.

I stare at the sky like I saw Stan doing a few minutes prior and I make shapes with the clouds.

They all look like..clouds. How weird.

I sigh and sit up.

"Wanna go now?"
Stan sits up and a Beverly nods after handing the flower crown to Stan. He smiles brightly and I take mine off when he puts his on. I'm not risking anything by leaving mine on.

I hold it and I prick my fingers even more but I couldn't care less.

We all walk through the streets and Beverly is up front. Her flower crown sits on her head perfectly and I the sun is shining on her.

I smile.

I look to Stan who is a little in front of me and the sun also shines on him perfectly. He decided to take his flower crown off too and I melt at how adorable he looks with the sun shining on him.

I look away and begin examining my flower crown. We arrive at Bevs house and she hugs us.

I have a weird feeling and I hug her tightly for longer than usual. Tears spring into my eyes but I refuse to let them fall.

She hugs me back tighter until I finally let go and she smiles softly at me. I wave a small goodbye.

I talk to Stan the rest of the way to his house and when we get outside it, I kiss him. I then hug him just as I hugged Beverly and he repeats the same thing she did with a huge smile.

I decided I want to take a bath when I get home.
