ᴍᴀᴋᴇ sᴜʀᴇ ᴛᴏ sᴍɪʟᴇ ғᴏʀ ᴍᴇ

4. Comfort

A few minutes go by after your little greeting with Chadwick, right now he asked you to follow him to a pretty normal nice looking room. "for reasons in safety of the hospital you need to remove your clothes and put on a temporary hospital gown so we can clean your current clothes before you enter upstairs!" he explained, you kinda got a little embarrassed when he told you to remove your clothes, that made you a bit uncomfortable. "oh no worries y/n! just change behind the curtain over there! I will turn around and close my eyes! just tell me when your done!" he said reassuringly as he gave you a neatly folded hospital gown in his hands, you take the clothing and went behind the curtain quickly getting dressed, you felt just a bit uncomfortable doing this but eventually you got it on quickly, you stepped out from behind the curtains and tapped Chadwicks shoulder "I-I'm done Mr Chadwick-" you say with a bit of worry in your voice, He turns around with a slightly startled face "o-oh! wonderful! after that I have to ask you some questions and put a tag on you so the hospital knows who you are! and then we will head upstairs to your room!" he said with a smile on his face, He puts your clothes to the side and gently took your hand. You kinda flinched at that, you didn't expect that and didn't know what he was going to do next, Chadwick just took out a bracelet with info about you on it, I guess that was the tag he was talking about. "Don't be afraid of me y/n, you are in a safe place...Im going to take care of you and make you happy" he said softly... but at the end of his words his voice kinda glitched a bit, it was very subtle and not that noticeable but you kinda heard that in his voice.  He lets go of your hand after he wraps it around your wrist "There we go! now for the questions, you don't mind do you?" he said as he took out his clipboard. "n-no...I don't mind.." you say softly he smiled and a few minutes passed.

After the questioning you both get up, Chadwick leads the way to a elevator, he takes out a small key card and scans it to let him on. "ready to see your new room y/n?" he chirped "Yeah, I guess..w-why not?" you say trying to sound excited "that's the spirit!" Chadwick says as you get on the elevator with him and went up ten floors...not going to lie but...it kinda felt uncomfortable how much he smiles, does he ever show other emotions other then happiness? Its probably just a permanent smile...I wonder if he ever got tired of that. "here we are! just follow me!" he said as he lead the way, you looked around...It was just a really long hallway with plain white walls and light Grey floors, the doors were plain white also with black numbers on it and a tiny window to look in, Typical futuristic clean look with all white. Chadwick stopped at your door with the numbers 588 on it, Chadwick opened the door for you and you entered...wow... the inside of the room was so much different from the plain white hallway, it actually had color and it had f/c curtains and f/c walls and bed! there was a healthy plant in the corner and some simple necessary things a room needs, A bed, TV, closet, desk, nightstand, and a bathroom. It had a very nice modern clean look to it, It was better then your old room actually, you smiled a bit to yourself....you....you smiled?....its been a long time since you actually...smiled. you shake your head and dismissed the thoughts, you jump onto the comfy bed and put your arms to the side "this bed is sooo soft!" you said as you buried your face into the fluffy pillow, Chadwick chuckled a bit and did a little victory dance in his head as you slightly smiled. you remembered that Chadwick was in the room with you and you quickly sit up on the bed embarrassed "ahem, I-I like the room, its very comfy-" you say looking to the side "I'm glad you like it! by the way your bags are in the room so I'll let you take the time to put away your things, and if you need me-" he said as he lifts up a little remote with a single red button on it "just press this button right here" he explained. you nodded your head and he close the door... maybe things will get better for you...hopefully.
