Jamie leaned her back against the wall, she peered over to Geralt with an amused look, "You're oddly quiet and calm for someone locked in a cage." She stretched her legs out in front of her like a child, kicking only her feet up and down like a swimmer, "Or for someone who can obviously hear what's happening out of these walls."

"You're far too loud, Jamie."

Crossing her arms over her chest, she exhaled heavily and glared at him, "We've been sitting here for hours. I asked you if you wanted to go and you said no. You know I could use magic and blow this stupid cage open-" She pulled herself up and grabbed onto the iron of the cage, looking up as dust appeared from the heavy movement above them, "Oh for the love of-" Jamie whispered a few words in elder, making the cage wall fall right down leaving a large opening, "You coming, Geralt?"

Geralt got up from his knees and rose a brow to her, "Maybe your decision to train with Yennefer was a pretty good idea."

A snort came from her as she lifted Geralt's sword and tossed it to him before grabbing her own, "So now you agree." She twisted her sword in her hands and walked down the hall, not even bothering with her armor, similarly to Geralt himself. "Is it because I'm helpful now?"

"You've always been helpful to me."

Jamie rose a brow over to him, walking out of the castle and ducking instantly as a sword came swinging at her head only have Geralt catch it with his own blade. Allowing Jamie time to strike the man down. "Helpful?" She blocked a sword before it could hurt her, allowing Geralt to strike this person down. Leaving the two of them facing one another, "In what ways did you ever find me helpful?"

"You're really asking me this right now?" Geralt killed a soldier before it could get close to Jamie, he grabbed her arm and swapped places as another sword went coming down at her. He shot her a look as she killed the man before he could.

"I mean, we're not too busy for you to answer." Jamie gave him one of her large childlike grins, she pulled her hand close to her chest and then shot it out at the soldiers, making them all go flying back into the brick wall, "See, not busy."

"You're smart, Jamie." Geralt approached her and brushed her hair off of her face, "Very intuitive, you pay attention to the close details." He wiped some blood from her cheek, "And even though you didn't have to, you always worried and did your best to take care of me."

Jamie melted in a happy smile at his words and rolled her eyes to try to cover her emotions, "I mean, if I didn't take care of you, you'd just drink yourself away with ale, beer, and prostitutes."

Geralt rolled his eyes and pulled her close to him, "Don't let the soldiers spot you, be careful."

"Coming from the very broad man with bright hair?" Jamie shoots over at him as they stood behind a turned over carriage, she peered around the corner of it and jumped slightly when a body came hurling from a window, "Oh-" She backed up into Geralt and covered her mouth, "That was Queen Calanthe."
