Geralt had continued to release a string of curses as he walked back into town. He'd dealt with this kind of problem before, but he never enjoyed the feeling of being completely covered in guts. He twisted his head to the side, he wasn't focused while fighting that selkiemore. Which was the reason he had been swallowed by the damn thing. He kept thinking about Jamie. A stupid decision in his case. He said that she was a distraction while out on the field but she was still a damn distraction when she wasn't with him during a battle.
He kicked the door open to the inn after seeing Roach tied outside of it, everyone was in a crowd around Jamie and Jaskier. Geralt watched Jamie give Jaskier a dirty look after he gave her a smug smile. Which wasn't exactly making Geralt feel any better about the situation he was in.
Geralt noticed Jamie was looking over at him, a wave of relief was on her face but it quickly scrunched into disgust, "What's that stench?"
"Selkiemore guts." Geralt answered, watching as Jamie's face contorted. He sighed heavily and continued, "I had to get it from the inside." His eyes shifted to the man who asked for this monster to be taken care of, "I'll take what I'm owed."
Jaskier stood from his spot, either nudging Jamie or pushing right into her as he sang, "Toss a coin to your witch, O Valley of Plenty-"
Geralt looked at the pouch but Jamie extended her hand out for him, "I'll take it-" She looked to Geralt and then back to the man as he set the coin bag in her hand, "Thank you." She brushed her index finger along Geralt's chest, "That's just disgusting."
His eyes lingered on her hand for a moment, and then her finger that was covered in the selkiemore guts from his body. His eyes shifted away as Jaskier approached them with his normal smug expression.
Jaskier got up and moved over to Geralt, "You're welcome."
Jamie only rolled her eyes at Jaskier's response, she handed a mug to Geralt, "Here. Swish that around and spit. I don't know what you might have swallowed while in that selkiemore."
Geralt looked down at Jamie for a moment before he accepted the mug, of what looked to be alcohol. He accepted the mug and did as she suggested, mainly due to the fact that she wasn't wrong.
"And now, witcher, it's time to repay your debt."
Jamie was the one to question him, "What debt are you referring to?"
"I've made Geralt famous. By rights, I should be claiming ten percent of all your coin, but instead, what I'm asking for is a teeny, teeny weeny little favor."
"I don't like the sound of that."
Geralt spat the alcohol from his mouth and shot Jaskier a look of displeasure, "Fuck off, bard."
"For one measly night of service, you will gain a cornucopia of earthly delights. The greatest masters of the culinary arts crafting morsels worthy of the gods. Maidens that would make the sun itself blush with a single comely smile." In the middle, Geralt looked over at Jamie and she nodded to the stairs, "And rivers of the sweetest of drinks from the rarest of-" Jasker turned around to see that the two had walked away, "Fuck. Food, women, and wine, Geralt! And Jamie can most definitely come along."
