"Lea, patulong naman dito oh..."

I carried Mafe's luggage. She just went out from Duty Free.

She sort of...

Well she bought a lot of chocolates, she said it was her pasalubong for her students.

"Chocolates? Akala mo naman galing abroad. Mamimili pala inawat pa kong kumuha ng cart kanina."

I looked at Jho.

My eyes were saying, 'Shut up please!'

And she just rolled her eyes at me.

Boss D told me beforehand that her wife's car was broken again. She asked her driver here in Manila to fetch us.

I was about to call him up when a man approached us.

"Good afternoon po. Ako po yung driver nila Maam Deanna. Tara na po sa kotse."

He took Mafe's luggage from my left hand. My right hand is holding ours.

Jho and I used only one for our clothes. She has her backpack for our phones, wallet etc.

We are now on our way to San Pedro Laguna. I sat on the passenger seat.

Mafe and Jho is sitting at the backseat, opposite of each other.

As in far from each other that if the driver accidentally elbowed the unlock button, they will fly and roll on the highway.

Mafe is pretending to be asleep. Jho is enjoying the view outside. She said it is her first time to go outside Cebu.

After three hours, we are here.

Mafe hurriedly walked inside their home. She passed her mother who was about to say something.

"Naku Mafe, wala kong pakialam kung may bisita tayo! Marami akong tinabas na sanga ng bayabas! Gagawin kitang zebra mamaya!"

Jho laughed hard.

I looked at her but she stuck her tongue out.

"Good afternoon po Maam Fe! Si Jhoana po, girlfriend ko."

Jho's smile turned into fear that quick.

Mafe's mother smiled wide at her.

"Pagpasensyahan mo na yung anak ko ha. Hayaan mo, hindi na yan manggugulo sa relasyon niyo. Last niya na yun."

Jho smiled at her.

"Salamat po Maam! Pasensya na rin po at sumama ako dito. Kasi po...

Kasi po..."

Maam Fe burst with laughter.

"Tita na lang ha. Pati ikaw Lea, Tita na lang din ang itawag mo sa akin. Kahit ako ang lumagay sa kalagayan mo, sasama talaga ako noh. Baka nasa Cebu pa lang yan si Mafe,  nilampaso ko na ang pagmumukha niyan sa kalsada eh. May balak din palang maging artista, di pa sinabi ng maaga. Dapat noong artista pa si Jema, nagsabi na siya para pinaextra  siya. Edi sana sikat na siya ngayon."
