"hu-" i opened my mouth. there were muffled sounds coming from next to me.
"laiya!" gabis voice from the chair next to me.
"laiya!" danny said, but it was muffled.
"shut up" kio said. everyone fell silent. it was still pitch black. yay. i tried focusing on anything, but it wouldnt work. i tried moving over to danny with my legs, but instead,
my chair crashed onto the fucking floor.

my head hurt a lot. i remembered kio had cut my neck.
"what the fuck?" kio grabbed my chair and lifted it back up.
"little girl, we're going to have to punish you for that. in a bit, once ive finished with your boyfriend."
"what happened laiya?" elle asked.
"be QUIET!" kio shouted. elle shut up.
dannys muffled voice got louder, until he was speaking.
"thank god you took that shit off my face," danny said, audibly annoyed. "now you can let us go!"
"oh no," kio said, laughing. "theres much more in store."
"stop, i wanna be able to see at least?!" elle was crying. hes covering our eyes? fuck yooouuuuuu.
"ah fuck you bitch, cant believe i actually made out with this nut job" gabi said, spitting at him. i felt him press the cloth to my eyes, and he tied it around my face. my head was spinning too fast to fight back.
he led elle and danny out, leaving gabi and me in the spare room.
"this is proper shit." she whispered. i could hear the heartache in her voice. i wanted to help her, but there was nothing i could do.
"cleo is dead. my baby." gabi cried. she loved cleo with all her heart, and as she sobbed next to me, i could almost taste her sadness.
i kept my mouth shut as i sorted through my memories of cleo.

tears started to fall down my face as the hole in my heart grew larger. i loved cleo, and i missed her, more than i ever had.

kio took us out of the room, and i tried to follow where we were going, but it was really disorienting. i lost where we were after about 10 steps. great job.
he sat me down, and elle sat down near me. he tied a rope around me on the chair, and i presume he did the same for elle. i couldnt be bothered fighting or speaking, and considering i didnt have my eyes to my advantage, it was probably a good idea to keep my mouth shut.
elle did the same.
"stay here. if you move, you will be sorry." kio said, emphasis on the 'will'.
"alright then." i said.
"yep" elle said quietly.
the door clicked shut. silence filled the room, and my ears were ringing. i tried undoing the rope. i managed to untie one knot, which then made the rope fall to the ground. i immediately took off my blindfold, and gasped.
