"this must be from floppy hair boy. his names danny? cute!" i said quietly to myself. he was the last person in here. but why? i pocketed the paper, and went to the toilet. i washed my hands and used some of the hand cream, it smelt rlly good, like lavender but vanilla ish too.

ahh. the familiar smell of aeroplane food. rank. i brushed past each person, and on my way back i saw danny. he smiled at me and i smiled back. i forgot which row my seat was. wOw. nice. then i saw elles brown hair and i walked over to get into my seat, by the window.
"scusy elle pls" i asked. she shifted her legs to the side again and i slid into place again. weirdly, noone had booked the middle seat, so elle and i had all three seats to ourselves.
"i took a picture of the sky, i needed a filler for my finsta." elle stated. knew it.

"also, i need to borrow your phone for the flight wifi plss" i asked, hoping she wouldnt wonder why.
"whyy? i wanted to post more on my finsta" she whined. great. now i have to tell her about danny.
"well.. there was this rlly cute boy waiting and he said my nails were nice and when i went into the toilet he left a note with his snapchat user on it." i waited nervously to see what elle would say.
her face lit up.
"no way," she said in disbelief "whats the user, i'll log u in and add him" she said. phew. i was scared she would be protective and wouldnt let me add him.
"here," i said, pulling the paper out my pocket "dannyd." i watched as she typed in the letters. and, there he was, his snapchat. i reached out and clicked. this is really happening. i barely had time to say something to elle before he added me back. woah, that was fast. keen?
"woah, that was fast. keen?" elle exclaimed.
"exactly what i was thinking" i said. i smiled at elle, and she got a rush of excitement.
"what if you two end up dating!!" she said excitedly. i scoffed. i fucking wish.
"i doubt it-"
"look! he sent you a snap" elle said, while directing herself to the 'chats' section. i snatched the phone away. i side glanced at elle.
"sorry girl, i gotta open it" i said, while plucking up the courage to open the fucking snap. why is this a big deal lmao, its a snAP.
i clicked on it and it loaded up.

"awh! hes really cute!" elle squealed, turning to me and beaming. "send one back" she said, pointing to the 'double tap to reply' button. i double tapped and sent the same thing back. okay, this is going well! dont fuck it up.
"okay but i think he likes you.. i hope. he looks really nice, and the EARRINGS- ugh. you're really fucking lucky" elle said, and looked at me with a sad look.
"we can share, dont worry" i said to elle. that made her laugh.
"dont worry, i wouldnt date him, i have tommy" she said. but shes right, he was really nice, and the earrings, fuck. i just hope im lucky enough for him to like me back.
