Chapter 10

Cordelia

A couple of weeks has pasted by since me and Xavier have met, oddly we have gotten closer. We talked almost everyday, we hanged out once in a while and I don't even know what to say about him. That he is a blasted to be with, that I got to know him more and more everyday. My feelings even grew for him, which kinda sucks because he will be leaving to his royal life, and have to find someone to marry to; a queen by his side.

Currently I am home alone, doing nothing but watch different movies in the living room. All of a sudden I hear my phone beep i looked at my phone and saw Xavier's name pop up.

Hey you doing anything?

I replied hey nah I'm not doing anything what's up?

After a couple minutes he replied back I was wondering if you wanted to go into the city?

I've been needing to go into the city for some time now, I thought it was a good idea
Yeah sure.

Okay I'll pick you up in half hour.

I squealed and rushed upstairs to find an outfit to wear. I put on a "friends" black sweater with some black legging with black and white nike shoes. I was already half way down when the doorbell rang. I went downstairs and opened the door.

"Hey" he said when he saw me.

"Hey" i replied. He looked breath taking.

I grabbed all my things and headed out towards his car. It was black Chevrolet Camaro. It was one sexy car not gonna lie. It was silence for about 5 minutes into the ride until he broke the silence. "How's school been?"

"School is school. Boring as hell, too much fake people."

He laughed when he said that "Did you seriously just say that?"

"What did you want me to lie and say school was amazing, there was no fights at all" (note the sarcasm).

"It cant be that bad, senior year of high school has to be the most funnest" he stated.

He was right though, i always thought senior of high school is when crazy parties drinking, smoking, different activities to do, hangout at the beach at senior ditch day. But everything changed now and nothing would be the same anymore.

We got into the city and it was really packed with people. "Damn how are we gonna get through all these people?"

"Well Cordelia do you not know who i am? Everyone knows everything about me and you be surprised what they know". Once he said that people started screaming and cheering when we passed them.

"OMG PRINCE  XAVIER!!!"

"MARRY ME!!" 

"ITS PRINCE XAVIER BLACKWOOD"

You won't even imagine how many people started surrounding the car I was shocked. I heard him grunt trying to pass through the crowd as fast as possible. 

"How are we gonna go into places if this is going to happen?" I asked. 

"In have a disguise in the back that i will wear once we get out of the car, it should really keep the edge off". After a couple of minutes of driving he found a spot and started parking the car. We got out of the car and he came to my side and grabbed my hand. Once he touched my hand i felt fireworks, something i haven't felt with any other person. 

"Do you have any stores in mind that you want to go in?" He asked. 

"Uhhh not any store specifically. What we could do is just explore and see any stores that could interest us."

"Yeah your right". Ahead there was this store called Wishes best store ever, has everything you want any types of cloths for both men and women. "Woah woah calm down there tiger im coming im coming" he was saying while i dragged him into the store. 

"You should probably get that" he pointed to a mannequin across the store, whose wearing a black lingerie. I hit his arm and rolled my eyes at him, he started laughing. 

"What! I think it will look great on you" he winked at me. I started blushing at his comment. I went to the area where the mannequin was, leaving him behind, and picked up the black lingerie. I turned around to face him and see him with his mouth open and wide eyed. I laughed at his reaction because i knew he wouldn't have thought i would bought it.

"You wouldn't buy it" he told me when he came up to me. Told you. 

"Watch m, maybe i could put it into some good use" I winked at him. 

"Um-I-Uh got to go to the restroom ill be right back" he said and ran off. I watched him as he ran off and looked around the store, thinking what else to buy. Once he came back we went through the whole store. Trying on different types of clothes, making a fool out of ourselves. 

20 bags later me and Xavier had a blast shopping in the city. It was the most funnest I've had my entire life honestly. We laughed a lot, ate a lot, shopped a lot for sure. Along the way on our trip a few of his fans recognize him and asked for a picture/autograph, other than that nothing dramatic really happened, thank god, cause after the whole thing with the car i was afraid we wouldn't be able to hangout.  

Currently we are in his car on our way back to my place. It was silence, not the awkward type. Inside i was really giddy for some reason, maybe its because of the guy i was sitting next to. 

He was humming a tune that was playing on the radio, i looked at him, at his features admiring his sharp jawline, how his hair falls down to his eyes, he just looks beautiful. As he felt someone staring at him he turned towards me and saw my eyes on me. He was smirking a little "Like what you see?" 

"I've seen better" even though i didn't. 

"You know you could've took a picture it would last longer". 

We were already coming up to my place, once he parked the car at the front we just sat there. After a couple of moments of silence i spoke up "Thank you, i really had fun with you. Didnt think today wouldve happen."

He gave me a questioning look "How come?"

"Did you not remember what happen earlier with the people gathering around your car"

He chuckled "But you have to admit that was pretty funny. But yes i get what you mean it happens a lot now that i am in New York. Even though no one was suppose to know that i was here." 

"How come? Wait never mind i know. Again thank you for today, get home safely".

He smiled at me as i got out of the car. I watched as he drove away, and smiled.
