IT Gets Stranger

Our problem

"So it started with us separately." Beverly started.
"Yah like with leper I saw, he was like a walking infection." Eddie said getting his inhaler out. Max walked over to him worried.
"And the stupid clown." Richie yelled.
"The fridge with all the animals in it." Beverly squirmed.
"Or the dead children in the sewer drains." Ben shivered.

"So what?" Mike said.
Everyone looked at him annoyed and fearful that he would leave with Eleven.
"Mike." Dustin said.
"No! What I'm hearing is that you all are delusional." He said standing in the middle of the group.
"Your all seeing shit that's not there." Mike said. Making gestures to his eyes.
"Mike c'mon man let's hear em out." Lucas said.
"No, El may be powerful but her powers can't help crazy." He said.
"WE aren't crazy" Micheal Said getting in Mikes face.
"Oh really? Cause I've yet to hear otherwise."
Mike said.
"Shut up Mike!" Dustin said finally jumping in.
Dustin walked over to Mike and yanked him to the other side of the room.
"Keep talking, Mike and I are just gonna have a talk." Dustin said pulling him away.
"What's wrong with his face?" Richie asked gesturing to his teeth.
El looked at Richie, angered by his comments towards her friend. She nodded her head up with force.
*CRACK*
A crack spread across one of Richies lenses on his glasses.
"HOLY SHIT!" Richie said pulling his glasses off his face in fear.
The losers laughed.
Lucas looked at el and smiled.
"Nice" max said in her ear.

"Mike, listen man I don't think they're crazy and I know you don't either." Dustin said putting his hand on his shoulder.
"Uh actually I do." Mike said.
"No you don't, I saw the way you looked when they were talking." Dustin said.
Mike rolled his eyes.
"Look man you're trying to protect your girlfriend and that's completely understandable, but when your girlfriend is Eleven there are some exceptions." Dustin said.
"Just let's hear them out, and like you said if it sounds sketchy we'll leave." Dustin said.
Mike rolled his eyes.
"Fine." He said walking over to the group, plopping on the ground next to Eleven, rapping his arm around her leg.
"Anyways." Dustin said smiling.
"Wait! you guys were saying something about 'IT'." Lucas said.
"Like as if 'IT' were a person." Lucas continued.
"Lucas 'IT' isn't a none." Max said rolling her eyes.
"No but they were using it as if it were." Lucas said.
"He's ri-ght." Bill said.
"The clown." Eddie said taking another hit off of his inhaler.
Max rubbed his back.
Lucas looked over jealousy.
"What clown?" Dustin said.
"'IT'." Beverly added.
"'IT' is a clown." Ben added.
"Clown?" Mike said standing up.
"He comes out every 27 years." Ben said.
"Like, what do you call it, cicadas, yuh know like, those bugs that come out once in every 17 years." Stan explained.
"And it takes-" Beverly started.
"And takes kids." Max said.
"The missing kid reports." She said looking at everyone.

"I know it seems kinda stupid for kids to do this. But when we try to explain this to the grown ups they don't believe us." Ben explained.
"And it's absolutely crazy what we're up against here." Beverly explained.
Mike, Lucas, Max, Will, and Dustin looked up at Eleven.
"We've probably seem crazier." Dustin laughed.

"So what is he, some guy in a clown costume?" Max asked.
"A good ole swing to the nards with the nail bat outa fix that problem right up." She continued.
The losers laughed.
"I like this girl." Richie said.
"Uh no he's way more than that." Ben smiled.
"He doesn't just take the children." Micheal started.
"I've seen it, he eats them." He continued.
"He gets in yo-your h-head." Bill said.
"He fucks with you." Richie said.
"Makes you see your worst fear." Stan said shaking.

Dustin looked scared at Lucas who now sat down.

"How do we stop him?" Will asked.
"We k-kill him." Bill said.
"And that's where you come in." Beverly continues.
"Well Els powers are good for that but we need the proper equipment." Dustin said.
"Yah rocks aren't gonna cut it this time." Lucas joked.
"We have weapons." Eleven said.
