When the group spilt off Micheal Lucas and Ben went to their bikes.
"Where to first?" Lucas asked looking bummed out, not because of the group he was placed with, but with the fact that Max was quick to run to another guy.
"The library?" Ben asked.
"Sure." Lucas said.
"You good bro?" Micheal asked.
"Me? Yah I'm fine." He smiled.
"C'mon there's clearly something wrong." Ben laughed.
"Well there's nothing we can do about it." Lucas said as they road down the street.
"We can try, it's the least we can do, you are saving our asses right now." Micheal smiled.
"Well it's like this, Max is my girlfriend, or was my girlfriend. We broke up like two days ago." Lucas said looking heart broken.
"Oh shit." Micheal said looking at Ben.
"And she went with Eddie." Ben added.
"Exactly, and she like rushed at the opportunity." Lucas said.
"Well Eddies not really someone to worry about." Micheal laughed.
"Yah he's kinda uptight." Ben laughed.
Lucas smiled.
"Ok" he said

They made their way to the library.
They got off their bikes and walked up the steps.
"Here we are." Ben said opening the door for them.
"What exactly is scary at the library, besides how time seems to stop when you walk in." Lucas joked.
"Ha yah I don't know, I figured we'd just wait it out." Ben laughed.
"We're gonna be here for hours." Micheal rolled his eyes.
"Shhhh." They heard from the librarian sitting at the counter.
They went to sit down at a table.
Ben pulled out a book that read History Of Old Derry.
"What's that?" Lucas asked.
"It's everything we need to know about the well house." Ben smiled.
"Well house?" Lucas raised an eyebrow.
"Where IT lives remember?" Micheal added.
Ben looked through the pages.
"So what do you think it's gonna be?" Micheal asked.
"I don't know, what are you scared off?" Lucas asked.
Ben looked through the pages, and he stopped at a page with a group of kids holding Easter eggs.
Ben was confused so he flipped to the next page.
Ben read the headline to a news paper clip in the book.
"Laster Explosion Kills 88 Children, 102 Total." He read aloud.
"Oh shit that's so sad." Lucas said looking at it.
He flipped to the next page and read.
" Bodies of those killed in Derry iron works explosion, 1908." Ben read aloud looking at a page with a picture of corpses lying on the ground.
"Woah that's gruesome." Micheal said.
Ben flipped the page to people gathered around a tree. He flipped again to a closer view of the tree.
He flipped again, even closer to the tree.
He flipped again, closer to the tree.
"Why is it just zooming in?" Micheal asked.
"I-I don't know." Ben said.
The more Ben flipped the closer it got, until finally he reached a page of one of the little boys that were holding the Easter eggs severed head was in the tree.
"What the hell?" Lucas asked grossed out.
Ben slammed the book shut.
"That ain't right." Micheal shook his head.
Lucases eyes widened as he slowly pointed behind Ben and Mike.
They slowly turned their heads, terrified at what they were about to see.
A red balloon was floating down the middle of the tables.
Ben got up to fallow it as it was heading into a room in the back.
"Ben?" Micheal whispered getting up to fallow him.
"Ben what are you doing?" Lucas said fallowing, putting his hand in his pocket grabbing his sling shot.
Ben walked into the room and the others fallowed close behind.
Ben saw an egg, a decorated egg, just sitting there on the top step.
Ben took a closer look at it, it was smoking.
"Look." Ben said gesturing for them to come closer.
"Why is that egg-" Lucas started.
"Smoking?" Micheal gulped.
Ben saw another egg further in the room. He walked over to it. He continued to fallow a spaced out trail of smoking Easter eggs down the hall and down the stairs.
"Ben wait up man." Lucas yelled.
They all stood in front of the egg.
"Is this some kind of joke?" Lucas asked.
"I don't think so. We were just reading about the explosion while those kids were Easter egg hunting. Even if it's a joke it's a hell of a coincidence." Ben explained picking up the egg.
The lights started to rapidly flicker on and off.
"What the fuck!" Micheal inhaled scared.
"Holy shit." Lucas closed his eyes and put his hand on his heart.
Ben walked further in.
He saw a shadow run across the back of the room.
*SPLAT*
They all heard, and slowly turned around to see someone wearing vintage clothes standing at the top of the stairs.
"H-hello?" Lucas asked.
They slowly walked over to the person.
"I can't see their face." Micheal whispered
Just then it took one step down the stairs, dropping more eggs.
"What the.." Lucas whispered.
It walked the rest of the way down, it didn't have head.
"Holy fuck NOPE run." Micheal yelled pulling on the backs of their shirts.
The headless person ran after them.
"Ahhhhhhh." They all screamed looking back to see it running after them.
"Egg boy!" A voice said low and distorted.
"RUN RUN RUN!!!" Micheal yelled pushing them to run faster. It started to get hotter and hotter the further they ran in the room.
A bright light illuminated the back of the room.
"Guys what's that?" Ben asked as they were running.
"Don't stop, he's gaining on us!" Lucas yelled.
Micheal looked on hoping it wasn't what he fears the most.
"Oh shit!" Lucas yelled as they turned the corner.
"F-fire" Micheal yelled getting nauseous.
"W-what the heck do we do?" Ben yelled.
"We're trapped!" He said.
"Not quite." Lucas said pulling out his sling shot and a rock.
Lucas ran and forward rolled out and shot at the headless guy running at them.
The rocks shot right through it, like butter.
Lucas got up and nodded. "Now that's what I'm talking about hell yah!" He smiled feeling awesome.
Ben and Micheal looked at him with confusion.
"Let's go, come on, move it." He said gesturing for them to go.
They ran out fast. Just then the doorway was covered from top to bottom in vines.
Lucas looked at them and shook his head.
"This can not be happening." He said.
"What is that?" Micheal yelled.
"GUYS THE FIRE." Ben yelled.
The fire was now getting closer and closer to them.
"Oh my god!" Micheal yelled running to the vines.
"NO!" Lucas yelled pulling him back.
"Believe me you don't want to touch those." Lucas said sounding hopeless.
"Why the fuck not?" Micheal yelled.
"Once you touch them, they rap around you like a snake." He said shaking his head.
Micheal held his hand out towards the vines, one vine slithered out to touch him. Micheal swiped his hand away and stepped down.
"So what, we're just screwed." Micheal said tearing up.
Ben stepped back and put his hands on their backs.
"Micheal, Lucas, I know we just met but thank you guys for being my friends." Ben said starting to cry.
Lucas nodded and put his hand on Bens shoulder.
Micheal fell to his knees crying.
"God please no!" Micheal yelled.
Ben pulled him close to his side.
They felt the heat get closer and closer to them.
"Ahhhhhhhhh." The all screamed in unison.
"What is going on here?" The voice of an old lady said from behind them.
They all opened their eyes and turned around.
"Oh my god!" Micheal yelled as he ran up the stairs.
"We're so sorry." Ben smiled at her running after Micheal.
Lucas looked around the room. No fire, no vines, not even the headless person.
He looked scared of what he just witnessed.
"Are you ok young man?" The lady said.
"Y-yah." Lucas said running up the stairs.

He walked out side to the steps of the library, where Micheal was crying on Ben, Ben tried to calm him down.
"It's ok man it's over." Ben said.
"C'mon lets get out of here." Lucas said putting his hand on his shoulder.
Micheal whipped his eyes and nodded.
They walked out to their bikes.
"How did you know about the vines Lucas?" Ben asked getting on his bike.
"The- the Mind Flayer." Lucas shivered.
