Katherine and Arabella walked into the room with shopping bags, both of them giggling as they thought of their memories together. Arabella put her bags down on the bed. An old lady came into the room with the rest of Katherine's bags.
"Where should I put these?" She asks.
Katherine point to the coffee table in the middle of the room. "Right there. Thank you, Miss Flowers. You've been such a wonderful help."
"Oh. It's my pleasure, dear. Let me know if there's anything else I can do." Miss Flowers says.
"I will." Katherine replies. Miss Flowers walks out of the room, shutting the door. Arabella smirked at her best friend.
"So nice. Who would've known the real Katherine Pierce and what she was capable of?"
"I know. Your brothers just need a reminder of what I'm capable of."
"I'm pretty sure they'll find out tonight." Arabella felt a presence in the room and looked at Katherine. Katherine looked up from her dress, then at Arabella. Katherine then vamp sped the person to the wall, only to reveal that it was Lucy Bennett.
"Woah, Kat. Chill." She says, still in Katherine's hands.
"Do not sneak up on a vampire," Katherine warns. She releases her from the wall while Arabella just smirked at the two girls.
"Don't attack a witch." Lucy retorts. "It's good to see ya, girl." The two girls hug. When they pull back, Lucy turns to Arabella.
"Arabella," Lucy smiles at her and pulls her into a hug.
"Lucy. Fancy seeing you here." Arabella pulled away from the hug and goes back to her bag. She fishes out a the top of her dress, admiring the material while Katherine and Lucy talk.
"Now where does one where this," Lucy says as she plays with Katherine's mask. Arabella got the same mask as Katherine did.
"To a masquerade ball. Tonight." Katherine says. "You want to be my date?"
Arabella cleared her throat at her best friend's words. "Right, correction. You want to be our date?"
"I would love to." The girls all chuckled before turning to their dresses. After some time, Arabella was fixing her wavy hair while Katherine was straightening hers.
"What's with the hair?" Lucy asks the older vampire.
"I'm impersonating my dull as dishwater doppelgänger, Elena. She has the worst taste." Katherine states while Arabella chuckles.
"Except in men," Lucy taunts back at Katherine. "Isn't it a risk pretending to be her in front of the whole town?"
"I've gotten quite good at it, actually."
"And everyone's gonna be in masks," Arabella chimes in. Katherine smiles at her through the mirror, but makes sure that Lucy didn't see.
"It's for some feed the something charity. It's for a good cause, Lucy."
"Mmm. Ok. Well, have you actually seen the moonstone before?" Lucy questions. "I always thought it was some made-up legend."
