Arabella sat on the couch in the Salvatore Boarding House, completely bored. Everyone was waiting for Elena to come, which was taking forever! Apparently, Rose came by willing to share information about the 'Sacrifice' but Arabella knew they were thinking of the wrong curse. The brunette wasn't about to give away information that could lead Klaus to her. But if she had to...A knock on the door interrupted Arabella from her thoughts. She sighed with relief and looked up at the ceiling. "God is good."
Stefan let out a small chuckle, making Rose laugh as well. Damon went to go answer the door, letting Elena in. She walked into the hallway to see Stefan coming towards her and Arabella on the couch staring off into space.
"What is this about?" She said playing with the straps of her purse. Stefan moves aside to let Elena see Rose, who came into view. Elena's face went into one of recognition. "You."
They all moved into the living room so they could talk about what was coming next.
"Ok, you have to understand I only know what I've picked up over the years. And I don't know what's true and what's not true. That's the problem with all this vampire crap. But Klaus. I know is real." Rose explained.
Just hearing his name sent goosebumps through Arabella. She sat up from the couch and started paying attention to what they were actually saying.
"Who is he?" Elena asks.
"One of the originals. He's a legend." Damon answered.
"From of the first generations of vampires." Stefan adds in.
"Like Elijah." Elena said.
"No. Elijah was the Easter bunny compared to Klaus. He was a foot soldier. Klaus is the real deal." Rose points out.
"Klaus is known to be the oldest." Stefan said. Arabella knew that wasn't true. She had met all of them except for Finn. That poor bastard.
"Ok, so your saying that the oldest vampire in the history of time is coming after me?" Elena asks confused.
"Yes." Rose says. "No." Stefan says at the same time as Rose.
Damon just rolls his eyes at them. "What they're saying is- I mean, if what she's saying is true-"
"Which it is." Rose implies.
"And you're not just saying it so we don't kill you..."
"Which I'm not."
"Then we're lookin' at a solid maybe." Damon finishes.
Elena nods her head, not feeling reassured at all. Stefan starts to get up and says, "Look, Elijah's dead, right? So no one else knows that you exist."
Arabella laughed quietly. "Sure, Stefan."
"Not that you know of." Rose says.
"That's not helping." Damon says back.
"Look, I've never even met anyone who's laid eyes on him. I mean, we're talking centuries of truth mixed with fiction. I mean, we don't know what's real. For all we know, he could just be some stupid bedtime story." Stefan says to try to reassure his girlfriend.
