Marie's POV
I'm feeling better sense the accident me and my friends went to Kayla's dad's funeral. Now I'm in the mall with Carley last minute Christmas shopping with almost a blizzard out side. It's Christmas Eve and I still don't know what to get Kayla for tomorrow.
"Maybe you can get her this." She says pointing at a tacky sweater with hearts and snow flakes "It's going to be cold in New York." She continued
I think it's stupid but Kayla likes stupid stuff that's why I love her.
"Fuck it I'll get it." I say
I grab it and take it to the cashier and hand her the money.
I walked outside with Carley the snow calmed down I drive home, we walk inside and played Just Dance 2015. I love that game. She checks her phone.
"Oh no!"
"What?" I said
"There is a full on blizzard and most of the roads are closed. There's no way home..."
"You can stay in the guest room for the night."
"Thanks it stinks I can't be home on Christmas morning." She says looking sad.
We stayed up till 1 am like a sleepover but I miss Kayla.

Marie's POV
I wake up to my little brother screaming.
"Wake up everyone Santa came!!"
I look at the clock it's 7 am, I roll out of bed and meet Carley in the halls. I see my Christmas tree is full with Christmas presents under it. We all open each one this year had the best presents.
The blizzard calms down and I drive Carley home and go to Kayla's house.
"Hey beautiful I got you a Christmas present."
"I got one for you too sunshine."
She opens her and sees the sweater and kisses me I open the one she gave me and see the Diamond ear rings I wanted so badly.
"I love you more than these ear rings."
