Marie's POV

I wake up ... Or at least I think I'm up. I hear voices but I don't see anything. Oh shit am I dead?

I start to hear someone's voice....oh my god! It's Kayla. What the fuck is going on?!

I use all the strength I can to open my eyes and I finally get them open.

A bright light hits my eyes.

" Oh shit..."

I groan and covers my eyes with my hands. I look around the room and my eyes land on Kayla sitting in a chair crying and our friends comforting her and crying with her.

" What the fuck?"

Is the first thing that comes out of my mouth and everybody looks at me.

" Your alive!"

Ryland screams and Kayla runs over to me. Gord leaves and gets the nurse.

Kayla pushes my hair back slowly trying not to hurt me.

" I've missed you so much..."

" How long was I gone....?"

" About a week ... They said you probably weren't gonna make it..."

" Oh well I did.."

" No shit."

I smile weakly and try to lean up to kiss her but I can't because I'm really weak.

" Ow."

" Here ... I'll lean down."

I smile and she leans down and kisses me slowly and gently.

We pull back once we hear Gord say " ewww cooties!"

We laugh at him and we sit and talk a while about anything and everything.

Marie's POV

One by one everyone left. Kayla stayed though not wanting to leave me alone in the hospital for one more night.

" You know you don't have to sleep in the chair the bed is big enough for both of us."

She smiles and I slowly scoot over and she gets in the bed with me.

" I love you sunshine."

" I love you too angel."

Marie's POV

Ashton is chasing me around the house but with a gun I scream loudly once he pulls the trigger and shoots me.

" Ahhhhh!!!!"

I wake up in the hospital bed screaming and with tears going down my face.

Kayla wakes up and pulls me too her and reassures me that everything is gonna be alright.

" Go back to bed baby. I'll protect you it's okay."

" Okay I love you."

" I love you too."

Marie's POV

I wake up the next morning feeling a bit better. I'm stronger than before and my face is not as pale as it was.

Kayla walks in with a smile on her face and some orange juice.

She hands me the orange juice.

" Goodmorning sunshine."

" Good morning angel."

I take a sip of the orange juice.

" You get to leave today... But your mom is picking you up."

" Okay that's cool... I'll see you later?"

" Of course."

She kisses my forehead and walks out waving goodbye.

My mom walks in a couple minutes later with my little brother.... And that little demon child Ashton.

" Get that child away from me!!!"

I scream in my head.

Ashton walks over to be and I'm thinking ' please don't kill me'. He sits on the bed next to me.

" I am weely Sowwey I weely didn't mean to hurt you Marie. I wuv you. Wank you for taking care of me."

" Ashton it's okay I forgive you."

" Yay!!"

He screams in the most adorable little kid voice.

I kiss his forehead and he smiles and gets off the bed.

My mom walks over with a tired look on her face.

" Hey sweetie how are you doing?"

" I'm doing fine.. I guess."

" Okay that's good I brought you some clothes. Go change and then we can go home."

" Okay mom."

I grab the clothes and walk to the bathroom inside the hospital room and change.

I put my hair up in a messy bun and walk out.

Well time to go home... Finally.
