The Feelings Within

Chapter 19

Marie's POV
All I see is a a white light coming towards us and I hear Cam scream and then I'm out.
Kayla's POV
After I get the call and I sob and cry. I run outside and I forget to get my keys so I decide to run.
I run as fast as I can. I need to see my baby and my dad and my friends. I cry and cry and keep running. I won't stop until I get to the hospital.
I see a white car stop next to me. I look and see it's Ryland.
" Where you going?"
I keep running and I let out a sob and respond.
" Hospital ... You might wanna come too."
" Get in ... It's too far of a run."
I hop in his car.
" Drive as fast as you can Ryland."
He drives way past the speed limit and we get to the hospital under five minutes.
I hop out and I run in.
" Why did I need to come?"
I hear Ryland say.
I sigh sadly and cry some more feeling tears go down my face.
" Gord was in a car accident with Marie, Cam, and Carley... And my dad was the one who hit them."
Rylands POV
As soon as I hear that I run to the desk and scream at the lady.
" Where the fuck Is Gord.?!"
" Sir calm down."
She says calmly.
I start to cry.
" No! My boyfriend could be dead right now! I need to see him!"
" Sir only family can see him."
" Fuck you!"
I see Kayla talking to the other lady at the desk calmly but she's sill crying.
I grab his hand and start walking towards some hospital rooms.
" Where are we going?"
" To see our Babies"
Kayla and I open each door and we finally get to the big room with Marie, Gord, and Carly.
Kayla's POV
I see her and my heart breaks at the sight. She's so pale she looks so .... Dead. I know she isn't because she is breathing.
I run over to her and I sit in the chair next to hers and I grab her hand and cry.
Ryland and doing the same with Gord and he is whispering I love you to Gord.
A doctor and a security guard walks in.
" I'm gonna have to ask you to leave."
I sigh, still crying a bit, and nod my head.
Ryland is still not getting up. He's crying harder than before and refusing to leave.
" Ryland come on. He's fine we gotta go."
I say calmly.
He nods, still crying, and we walk out quietly crying.
The doctor follows us out.
" Kayla May I speak to you ... Privately."
I walk over to him.
" Your father..... I'm sorry but he didn't make it. We did all we could."
I nod wanting to cry but I can't I've cried to much already. My eyes are all dried out.
I go and sit down next to Ryland and the doctor follows me.
" Now you friends .... They will be fine. Uh Marie's ribs are slightly bruised and she has bruising on her head. She will probably wake up tomorrow. Gord's head is bruised and his jaw is too. He should wake up tomorrow or later tonight. Cam has a broken leg and is under cardiac arrest that's why she wasn't in the room but she will be fine. Carley just has a broken arm and bruising on her head. She should be up later tonight."
" Thank you for letting us know."
" Your very welcome. We already informed their parents they were here so you don't have too. And visiting hours are tomorrow whenever they wake up. When they do we will let you know. And again sorry for your lost."
The doctor walks away and me and Ryland walks out the hospital in silence until Ryland speaks.
" Who uh who died?"
" My dad..."
" Oh I'm sorry."
" It's okay... I guess. He was an asshole anyways."
" How?"
" Well once my parents found out I was gay they disowned me. I still live with them. But I'm not allowed to " act gay" around them."
" Move out."
" I can't ... Not yet... I need a job."
" Oh."
" Yeah."
We get to my house and Ryland drops me off.
" Thanks for the lift."
" Don't mention it."
He smiles sadly drives away and I walk into the house and into my room.
I lay on my bed and try to sleep waiting for the call from the hospital.
I finally fall asleep after hours and hours.

Kayla's POV ( 3am)
I hear my phone ring and I groan and answer it.
" Who dares wake me from my sleep?"
" It's Ryland! Their up! Be ready in 5 minutes.!"
I run out side not caring that I had on pajamas that had adorable cute monkeys on them.
Ryland pulls up and I hop in the car.
" Drive fast as hell."
He drives faster then he did before and we park and run inside.
We run to the room they are in and I go in and see Marie sitting up and she looks up and smiles sadly at me.
" Hey baby."
She says weakly
" Hey sunshine."
I walk up to her and sit in the chair next to the bed.
" How ya feeling?"
" Good my ribs hurts like hell though."
" Yeah they said they were bruised. But you'll be fine."
I hear Cam's parents walk in and I wave at them they smile and walk over to Cam's room.
" I love you sunshine."
" I love you too baby."
