Marie's POV

"Oh shit . Fuck fuck fuck !"

" Marie Flectcher!"

I hear my mother call me and I sigh angrily.

I don't wanna deal with her shit right now so I keep running across the street to the school.

I see my my mom pull in to the parking lot of the school and she stops by me.

" In the car! Now!"

I hear my mom yell at me. I groan I'm frustration and get in the car.

" So your skipping school now?!"

" No ... We went to Barnes and noble for lunch and lost track of time."

I lie smoothly.

" We?! So now you skipping school with boys?! What did you have sex in the fiction section?!"

I look at my mom in disgust and I laugh.

" Wow mom you really think I would have sex in public.... And with a boy?"

" What do you mean... With a boy?"

" Wow mother I'm gay ... I don't like dick. I like pussy. I told you this already."

" I know you told me that but I thought it was just a phase."

She says softly.

" Well it's not a phase."

I say angrily.

" Well I think your just confused sweetie."

" Mom I'm not confused! I'm gay why can't you accept that?!"

" I do accept it.... For other people.... I don't want any child of mine to be gay!"

" But why not?!"

She stays silent and keeps driving home I see we are close to Kayla's house.

" Pull over."

" Why?"

" I'm going to my friends house for the night. I can't be here with a homophobe."

I say trying not to lose my calm.

She sighs and slowly pulls over.

" I love you sweetie."

She says as I get out the car.

" I bet you do."

I say harshly but at the moment I don't care. She drives away and I walk quickly to Kayla's house.

I knock on her door and she answers.

" Hey sunshine?"

She says confused as to why I'm here.

I look at her and I just start crying. I start sobbing and she pulls me in for a hug.

" Oh baby what's wrong?"

She pulls me into her house and she takes me upstairs to her room.

" Sunshine what's wrong?"

" She... She doesn't want me... Being gay."

" Who?"

" My mom..."

I sniffle and finally stop crying.

" Oh baby... She will one day.... She just has to learn to accept it."

Kayla's POV

I kiss her tears away and smile sadly.

" Are you okay now?"

She nods slowly.

" Can I stay the night?"

" Of course you can sunshine."

Marie's POV

After I calmed down me and Kayla went on a walk in silence and we kept sneaking kisses.

Once we get back to her house about a couple hours later we make popcorn and go I'm her room and cuddle and watch the movie ' Hairspray'.

"I love this movie so much."

" I love you so much."

I giggle a bit.

" Your so cheesy but I love you too."

She kisses me and I kiss her back whispering I love you's to each other before we fall asleep.
