The Feelings Within

Chapter 13

Cams POV
I see Gord walk out the cafeteria with Ryland and I smile. I look at Lily I'm awe.
" So bestie.... Wanna hang out later?"
I ask her nervously. I don't know why I'm so nervous we been best friends for years now. I know I love her more than a friend but I know she probably doesn't feel the same way I do.
" Cam did you hear me?"
Lily says taking me out of my thoughts.
" Wait what did you say?"
She laughs and I giggle.
" I said I would love to hang out today. My place after school?"
" Yeah sure"
She smiles at me and I smile back.
We stare at eachother for about 5 minutes until a scared looking Gord runs in faster than ever and jumps behind me.
" Cam hide me please."
" Gord what's wrong?"
He starts shaking and I know he is about to start crying or having a panic attack or worst ... Both.
I hold him up trying to calm him down.
" Gord what happened? It's okay."
" Ryland he he ...."
He stutters and what happens next scares the shit out of me.
He passes out in front of me and I scream.
" Oh shit oh shit oh shit"
Lily comes over and helps me help him up and we carry him out the cafeteria and Ryland sees us and he runs up to us.
" Let me take him to the nurse."
" No I don't know what happened but he came him there shaking and crying and all he said was your name. This is your fault."
" Oh shit.... I forgot about his anxiety. Why the fuck would I ask him to prom?!"
Ryland starts screaming to his self or at the world ... I don't know.
" Wait you asked him to prom?!"
I ask Ryland as me and Lily are atoll struggling to carry him to the nurse which is all the way on the other side of the school.
" Yea.... I ..... I love him"
Me and Lily awe at him and keep walking until we here someone say...
" You what now?"
That someone was Gord.... And since we thought Gord was passed out we screamed and dropped him.
" Ow shit."
Gord rubs the back of his head and leans up against the wall. Ryland runs up to him and sits next to him and keeps asking if he was alright.
Gord keeps saying yes and and smiling like an idiot.
Ryland helps Gord up and holds his hand walking down the hall way.
Me and Lily awe at them and we decide to let them be alone for a while.

Gord's POV
Ryland grabs my hand and we walk down the empty hallway slowly. I smile at him and play with his hand.
" So uh I heard you at the party...."
He says to me and I blush.
" I heard you just now..."
He blushes and laughs a bit.
" Do... Do you mean it?"
I ask looking at him dead straight in the eyes.
" Every single word. I love you Gord and not just as friends. I love you way more than that. I only dated Kinzie because I didn't want anyone to know I was... Gay. So she was like a beard , even though she didn't know it. But whatever. I love you so fucking much Gord."
I smile at him and by then I already have tears down my face.
" Did I say something wrong?"
He ask nervously.
" No these are happy tears."

He smiles and wipes my tears and kisses my cheek.
" Oh and by the way, I love you too."
He smiles and kisses my cheek, and even though I wished his lips were on mine , I didn't care at the moment because he loves me and I love him.
