So here we are, driving to a highway to find a man that is supposed to be dead. Oh lord. This should be fun. All of us left our beautiful "home" to go live on a highway. Alyssa says that after we get Carter we can come home but there won't be enough gas. But, at least she can be happy.
ALYSSA'S POV
I'm finally gonna be with him, after all these years. Shawn doesn't seem happy tho, it's weird. Narra is so confused, I think she really thought that Shawn is her dad. "Narra, you ready to meet your dad?" She doesn't answer. I hope she likes him.
When we get to the highway I'm the first one out of the car, I have my pistol in my hand. I'm stalking up to a blueish colored car but I don't have to. A tall, skinny man steps out. He looked about 15, brown eyes, long dark brownish red hair. He was wearing torn skinny jeans and a button down flannel. I recognized him immediately. I dropped my gun and ran to him. I jumped in his arms and he spun my around. I smiled and giggled and went totally girly for a second. Then Narra stalked down to us. "Mom where's-" she looked at Carter and froze. Carter kinda pushed me so he could see me better. Then raised one eyebrow. "Mom?" I smile. "Meet your daughter." They are both so totally confused.
So after about an hour of explaining, I think they finally understood. Then he leaned over and kissed me. Then he picked me up and kept kissing me. He lost his balance and we fell over, but I don't think he really cared, I know I didn't.
OLIVIA'S POV
I'm really happy for her. She finally seems happy again. It was so cute, Carter picked her up and they fell over, but I don't think they noticed. Then John pulled me aside. "So what about camp? We had a bunch of supplies there." I nod. "I know, but both cars are completely out of gas." He looks at his feet. "Well let's go get some." I push his shoulder playfully. "There isn't a gas station for miles." He frowns. "So we just stay here until we all die?" I'm mad now. "Don't say that! No one is gonna die!" He looked at me. "I know, I just, wanna go home."
