This Is Where We Part Ways

So when we get outside, we are all shocked, not because Grace managed to open the window and escape in time, but because there is snow on the ground. "How long were we in there?" No one speaks. I shiver and Johnny puts his arm around me. Then Alyssa finally breaks the silence, "I want a car." Some giggles are heard but Grace talks over them, "And what do you know about driving?" Alyssa clenched her fists. "A lot more than someone that should be dead right now." Woah. "Ohhhhhh!!! Shit just got real." She shoots John a death look and says "Stfu." I've had it with her. "Why do you abbreviate everything?" She looks at me like I'm stupid. "Because abbreves are in!" I punch her and she falls. "Don't you see that nothing is 'in' anymore? It doesn't matter!" She's still on the ground. I nod to Alyssa. "We should get to cars. One for me and Johnny, and one for you and Shawn." We all agree then go car shopping.
Then Shawn and Alyssa pull up in a pick up next to me and Johnny in a black car thing. I'm not good with car names. "We should hit the road?" Alyssa yells over the motor, "Yeah." She pulls out and we follow her. I can tell her plan was to stay out of the cities. Then she pulls over. "Hey, you ok?" She nods and tells me that Shawn was gonna drive for a while. I'm glad we left Grace.
ALYSSA'S POV
Everything was going fine, smooth roads, no walkers, then Shawn started talking. "I'm sorry." I didn't say anything. "I should have helped you sooner." I shake my head. "Well, you didn't, so drop it." He looks down. "I know, trust me, I know but-" I cut him off and scream. "Just drop it!" I swerve the truck and pull over. I wipe my eyes. Then Liv pulls up and asks if I'm ok. I tell her Shawn is gonna drive and he takes the hint. So we hit the road again.
