CARTER AND SHAWN
They sat in silence as Shawn drove. Carter stared ahead as tears rolled down his cheeks. After a while Shawn spoke, "You really loved her, huh?" Shawn got nothing but silence. "I did too, she was like a little sister." Carter finally spoke, "She was my life." Shawn stopped the car. They sat in silence for a while then Carter broke the silence, "I should have been nicer to her." "What do you mean?" Carter sighed before answering, "I was a jerk to her, I really was, and she still loved me. I never really told her how much I loved her." Shawn spoke, "but she knew." Carter nodded. "Yeah, I hope so."
